This study was conducted to open up discussion for the possible adaptation of a blended learning model permanently with a higher ratio of in-person learning or suggest alternative implementations of remote tools to in-person learning. Data was collected through surveying high school students and their opinions on such systems with the idea that experiments with different learning models would be dangerous in the midst of the pandemic and that students should be included in this discussion as they are the ones impacted by this potential change the most. Results indicate that students are in favor of this blended learning model of four days of in-person instruction and one day of remote instruction as the drawbacks of the blended and e-learning mo...

In fact, the two are closely related. As the environment suffers, so do the people. Melting ice caps and changes in global temperatures lead to the submergence of territories and destruction of sea life as well as heat waves/ice ages and arrival of invasive species, respectively. Though the effects of climate change extend to all, indigenous people are disproportionately affected. Climate change terrorizes their lands and living capabilities, as the relocation of indigenous people can prove to be detrimental; their lifestyles are heavily catered towards the geographical location they reside in. This paper examines the previous and current legislation put in place pertaining to climate justice for indigenous people and analyzed whether or not they have been effective thus far. We looked at the social, economic, and physical impacts that the legislations ha...

However the origins of such beauty standards are a topic of discussion and frequently up for debate. Our paper takes a look into the origins, impacts, and implications of beauty standards within various regions of Asia, including Central Asian, South Asia, East Asia, and the Middle East and whether they can be linked to Europe and the Age of Exploration. We used an archival approach, looking into previous records regarding European colonization of Asia and popular folklores and figures. Our findings conclude that European colonization can very well be attributed to the beauty standards across Asia; for much of these regions, the ideal standard of beauty is heavily influenced by the ideal European figure, such as their light skin and light colored eyes. However, it may not be the sole contributor to said standards. Some of these standards were set and stone far before the Age of Exploration, and in modern society, what peop...
