To effectively eliminate pollutants from AMD, various approaches are necessary. This review aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of recent advances in AMD mitigation. While treatment technologies have developed to eliminate AMD, they often produce sludge as a by-product and require expensive maintenance. As a cost-effective alternative, the recovery of AMD resources can reduce toxicity and promote reuse of heavy metals and rare earth elements. This review also analyzes the challenges and prospects of AMD mitigation implementation, including current mitigation conditions and knowledge gaps. Researchers can benefit from this review by gaining insight into research progress in this area, identifying strengths and weaknesses of current AMD mitigation applications, and exploring future research directions.

Penelitian dilaksanakan di hutan tanaman industri (HTI) perusahaan Wirakarya Sakti (WKS) Desa Dataran Kempas Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Kabupaten Tanjung Jabung Barat Provinsi Jambi dan Laboratorium Fakultas Peternakan Universitas Jambi. Taman Rimbo Zoo is a specific conservation in Jambi that is expected to contribute value from the aspect of ex-situ conservation as the main function, socio-economic community, and physical environment. The opportunity of Taman Rimbo Zoo development is primely considering that there are still few places of flora and fauna recreation that are inexpensive, educative and healthy. In Indonesia, the estimation of methane gas production from a landfill has not been widely carried out. The purpose of this research is to measure production and measure the concentration of methane gas emitted into the atmosphere, assess methane gas emissions as an energy source, and analyze the potential costs and benefits of electrical energy that can be generated from methane gas emissions at the Talang Gulo TPA. The emission data obtained can be used as material for analysis to create a project for developing a gas processing system from a landfill. This estimation approach is carried out in three ways, namely prediction with LandGEM-v302 software, field measurements with methane flux and utilization of methane gas production as an energy source. Peternakan ayam ras dalam penelitian ini merupakan peternakan yang terdiri dari peternakan ayam petelur (layer) dan ayam pedaging (broiler). Diantara 100 respon diketahui bahwa 82 responden atau 1.700 skor pada kategori Terganggu. Tingginya skor tersebut disebabkan karena sebagian besar masyarakat merasa terganggu dengan bau yang ditimbulkan dari peternakan ayam ras petelur tersebut. Sementara untuk pencemaran air diantara 100 respon diketahui bahwa 83 responden atau 1.660 skor pada Kategori sangat terganggu. The analytical method used is quantitative descriptive analysis method supported by qualitative and cross tabulation methods.
