Nevertheless, Brazil does not have a manufacturer that can provide this equipment and the Brazilian National O&G agency regulator has been pushing for O&G explorer and producers to use a minimum of machinery from local suppliers. With this regulatory demand, a BOP was developed from scratch. International Standards have been evaluated to understand what could be adapted as no standard is applied specifically to this equipment. Analytic and numerical simulations were performed and adjusted according to local suppliers’ limitations for materials and testing. Tree prototypes were built and tested to evaluate the design and functionality of the BOPs. At the end, the design was proven to work and the prototypes are being tested for long time without presenting any problems. This project was supported by an innovation agency EMBRAPII and was developed by SENAI CIMATEC to PERBRAS Company.

Materials and Methods: The sample consisted of eight volunteers. By means of a drawing, three volunteers were selected to be the suspects. Subsequent drawings were made for the bite to be carried out on the respective food. After having defined the sample, the suspect models and the bitten food were scanned using the software Measuring System ATOS IIndustrial 3D Digitizer v6.1. Viewer-8 and TRITOP of GOM Inspect v1.2.1 (Germany).The file generated images which were compared using a three-dimensional analysis. From the virtual model of bitten food, these data were sent to a printer for rapid prototyping where the prototype of chewed food was then formulated. The objective of this study was to determine the critical success factors (CSFs), as well as resp... more The objective of this study was to determine the critical success factors (CSFs), as well as respective best practices (BPs) associated with those factors, using a case survey of the employees of Ford Motor Company working in different development centers around the world. The company's project managers were asked to respond to two structured questionnaires. The results confirm the study's assumption that the order of importance of the CSFs of the automotive industry differ from those of other industries in general. The results also reflect the importance of the front end (FE) phase in the new product development process. Regional differences were also observed. Neglecting CSFs can lead to delayed decision-making, resulting in higher development costs or cancellations of projects.

This study is exploratory research with a case study involving a survey with health professionals and the use of tools for product development in order to find a solution to the problem of traceability and warnings about temperature deviations. From the information collected and the literature reviewed, it was possible to develop a concept of a product to meet the customer requirements. The results showed that thermo-sensitive health products lack traceability in the health network and that the concept presented contributes to solving this problem.
