This research examines the effects of facilitating conditions and perceived usefulness on intention to use mobile application in Muslim Sacco's in Uganda. The underpinning theory of the study is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). This quantitative study examined the effect of facilitating condition and perceived usefulness on mobile applications users’ intention. The study employs SmartPLS to analyze the data from 229 respondents. This study reported the impact of compatibility and perceived risk on the acceptance of Islamic b... more This study reported the impact of compatibility and perceived risk on the acceptance of Islamic banking products and services among customers in Nigeria. A total of 401 returned and useable questionnaires were used for the analysis. The use of PLS-SEM technique was employed in analyzing the data. The result suggests that compatibility plays an important role in the acceptance of the products and service provided by the Islamic bank in Nigeria. Compatibility explained 36% variance of the acceptance of Islamic banking products and services. Perceived risk was found to have a strong negative effect on the acceptance of the Islamic bank products and service with 28% variance of the adoption being explained. The overall model was found to have a moderate predictive power.

Specifically, it explained the role of zakat, waqf, sukuk, and crowdfunding in helping customers, producers, and governments in helping those affected by the crisis as well as increasing the economic activities which in turn would help reduce unemployment and revive the recession faced by many countries throughout the world during this pandemic crisis. The instruments of Islamic social finance need to be mobilized to boost the economy during the COVID19 pandemic is as well as the anticipated post-COVID19 pandemic. Zakat, waqf as well as social investments through sukuk and crowdfunding should play significant roles not only during but also post-pandemic that could increase the economic activities and help the economy to get out of recession.

This study presents a pilot result of the research study that employed the used of diffusion of i... more This study presents a pilot result of the research study that employed the used of diffusion of innovation theory to unveil the influence of the perceived attribute of innovation that comprised relative advantage, compatibility, complexity and perceived risk alongside with awareness and customers involvement on the adoption of Islamic banking in Nigeria. The sample of 100 questionnaires was administered to the customers of Jaiz Bank Plc., and 94 out of them were retrieved and used for the analysis. The result indicates a good internal consistency reliability of the measurement. Convergent and discriminant validity were also established. Overall, the result provided an indication of reliability and validity of the measure which provided a clear guide for the full-fledge study

Muslims are obligated to adopt Islamic financial planning because it is part of the Shari’ah obligations. The objective of this study is to propose a conceptual framework for the intention to comply with Islamic financial planning among staff of Universiti Islam Antarabangsa Sultan Abdul Halim Muadzam Shah (UniSHAMS). This study will employ the Theory of Planned Behavior and propose the integration of attitude, knowledge and self-efficacy to test their influence as independent variables on the intention to comply with Islamic financial planning as one of the Shari’ah requirements. It is hoped that useful outcome of enormous significance to the practitioners and other relevant stakeholders. Keywords— risk, Islamic, financial, planning, Shari’ah.
