Various traditional and low-cost methods have been developed to remove mercury from wastewater. This study used local raw material as an alternative adsorbent to treat mercury-contaminated wastewater. Activated bentonite was prepared using different chemical activators (H3PO4, HCl, and ZnCl2) in various concentrations. Then, it was dried at 200°C for an hour. The materials were characterized by SEM-EDS. Its percent removal and isotherm models were analyzed. In this study, the most effective activator was H3PO4 and the experimental data matched the Freundlich model.

However, efforts to decontaminate mercury from the ex-mining soils are still rare. This study aims to synthesize quaternary ammonium silica functionalized magnetite (Fe3O4/SAK) as a low price, highly available, and quickly separated adsorbent for mercury decontamination from ex-mining soils samples. The synthesis of Fe3O4/SAK and the mercury decontamination process was carried out by the co-precipitation and batch type reactor procedure, respectively. The Fourier Transform-Infra Red (FT-IR) characterization of synthesized Fe3O4/SAK informed the appearance of siloxane, silanol, methyl, methylene, and Fe-O functional groups. Crystal analysis by X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) showed that the typical peaks of SiO2 and Fe3O4 were emerged at 2θ 22.8˚ and 35.52˚, respectively. This study mainly focus on urban areas and the health effect of poor water and sanitation, floor, inadequate heating, poor food storage and overcrowding. This research has used qualitative method with questionnaires has spread to a hundred and six homes about characteristics of healthy home. The questionnaires have spread to Pondok village and Bukit Kerman village, Kerinci District, Jambi Province, Indonesia. Result showed 90% houses too dense and 10 no dense, 98% houses on this area are unhealthy houses and 10% healthy houses. Unhealthy houses that affected diseases such as 20% diaarhea, 29% other diseases, 13% ARI, 10% malaria 15% skin and 12% no diseases. We recommended to make a public health policy to reducing unhealthy houses on this area.

The variation of fertilizer used is 40 gr Urea + 20 gr TSP + 20 gr KCl, 40 gr Urea + 20 gr TSP + 20 gr KCl + 10 gr Kiserit, 20 gr Urea + 10 gr TSP + 10 gr KCl + 2 kg patchouli waste compost and 20 gr Urea + 10 gr TSP + 10 gr KCl + 5 gr Kiserit + 2 kg patchouli waste compost. The method used in this study is a completely random design with two factors and three repetitions. The research was conducted by combining fly ash and bottom ash with an adhesive consisting of portland cement. Based on the tests performed the maximum mixture obtained with cement samples, fly ash and bottom ash is 1: 2: 2. Paving blocks made from fly ash and bottom ash have compressive strength values resulting in compressive strength values of 50.52 MPa. This value indicates that the sample is in the class of paving blocks A. Paving Block made from fly ash and bottom ash also has a very good average air absorption value, in a combination of suitable cement mixtures, fly ash and bottom ash (1: 2: 2) the average air absorption value is still 5.06%. This value shows that the sample is in class B paving blocks.

Penelitian dilakukan di lapangan sepakbola SSB Pratama Kabupaten Batanghari dengan jumlah pemain 24 orang. Metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif digunakan pada penelitian ini mengguanakan uji normalitas. Berdasarkan uji normalitas hasil tes dengan uji lilifoers dari keseluruhan data diperoleh hasil normal serta perhitungan pada tiap data diperoleh data passing dengan nilai 6,08 poin dengan kategori sedang, data dribbling dengan nilai 19,6 detik dengan kategori sedang, dan data shooting dengan nilai 12,6 poin dengan kategori baik. Teknik dasar sepakbola pemain SSB Pratama Kabupaten Batanghari termasuk dalam kategori sedang dan baik, yang dimana teknik passing dan dribbling dalam kategori sedang, dan teknik shooting dalam kategori baik.

This has negative impacts on the environment and human health. Purpose: The aim of this study was to identify unhealthy houses in Kerinci, Indonesia. Method: This research used a descriptive cross-sectional approach. A survey of 122 houses was conducted to determine the characteristics of houses in Kerinci District, Jambi Province, Indonesia. Stratified random sampling was used to obtain representative healthy house data, by using four repetitions on each single question to minimize errors. Results: The results showed that 90% of respondents had a high occupant density. A high number of diseases were already experienced by residents in the area. Arg) clone PB 260. This study was conducted this study was conducted in a community garden located on Jl. Tri Brata Km 14. Village cottage Desk, District Mestong, Muaro Jambi, Jambi Province. This study uses the design field by placing a treatment randomized into the experimental unit, there were 9 treatments in this study is P1 = etefon 2.0% + fertilizer 152 g, P2 = etefon 2.0% + FERTILIZER 220 g, P3 = etefon 2.0% + fertilizer 302 g, P4 = etefon 2.5% + fertilizer 152 g, P5 = etefon 2.5% + fertilizer 220 g, P6 = etefon 2.5% + fertilizer 302 g, P7 = etefon 3, 0% + fertilizer 152 g, P8 = etefon 3.0% + pupuk220 g, P9 = etefon 3.0% + 302 g fertilizer. The observed variables include latex weight, volume latex and dry rubber content (KKK) processed. The results showed that administration intraksi etefon and fertilizer showed the results of latex. Giving etefon 3.0% + pupuk152 g, etefon 3, 0% + 220 g fertilizer, fertilizer etefon 3.0% + 302 g of weight showed the highest latex and latex volume dibandingankan with other treatments, but inversely proportional to the dry rubber content (KKK) processed. Dry rubber content (KKK) processed etefon best shown by the treatment of 2.0% + 220 g fertilizer. Giving etefon shows a real influence on the outcome of latex, while fertilizer showed no effect on the outcome of latex.

Rokok dapat ditemui hampir di setiap kegiatan manusia Indonesia, bapak yang sedang mengendarai mobil, remaja yang sedang berkumpul bersama temannya hingga orang kantoran yang merokok dalam ruangan ber-AC. Rokok menjadi komoditi yang sulit ditinggalkan masyarakat Indonesia, meskipun mereka tahu bahwa rokok tidak baik bagi kesehatan mereka. Bahkan sudah tertulis pada bungkus rokok bahwa " Merokok membunuhmu ". Rokok menjadi buah simalakama bagi bangsa Indonesia, satu sisi rokok tidak memberikan dampak yang baik bagi kesehatan masyarakat, namun di sisi lain ada lebih dari 1,8 juta jiwa petani tembakau yang menggantungkan hidupnya dari perkebunan Industri rokok. Selain itu rokok juga memberikan devisa Negara yang cukup besar, tercatat pada tahun 2016 devisa Negara yang dihasilkan dari cukai rokok sebesar 150 Triliun rupiah. Pemerintah diharapkan dapat memberikan jalan tengah terhadap persoalan yang sedang dihadapi oleh bangsa Indonesia akibat rokok, mempertimbangkan kesehatan masyarakat adalah upaya yang penting tanpa mengesampingkan para petani tembakau, harus ada regulasi yang jelas dan saling menguntungkan antar berbagai pihak di Indonesia. SOLUSI PERMASALAHAN ROKOK BAK BUAH SIMALAKAMA Rokok yang menjadi buah simalakama bagi bangsa tentu bukan berarti tanpa solusi, beberapa alternatif yang bisa dilakukan dan mampu memperbaiki kesejahteraan petani tembakau di Indonesia adalah meletakkan tembakau pada industry kesehatan tradisional yang kaya akan teknologi sederhana namun sangat bermanfaat bagi para petani, seperti menjadikan tembakau sebagai bahan pengobatan kanker mulut rahim, sebagai upaya pertama melepaskan gigitan lintah, sebagai obat bagi penderita diabetes serta memperkuat pertahanan tubuh, sebagai obat anti radang, sebagai obat HIV/AIDS, pemeliharaan kesehatan ternak, penghilang embun, sebagai obat luka dan sebagai salah satu bahan utama pembuat biofuel. Pemerintah diharapkan mulai mengalihkan fokus dalam industri tembakau. Berhenti produksi rokok yang tidak menyehatkan masyarakat dan mulai berdayakan petani tembakau untuk memciptakan home industry dengan bahan utama tembakau, Hal ini tidak hanya menguntungkan bagi petani tembakau, namun juga bagi bangsa dan Negara terlebih bagi masyarakat Indonesia yang akan berhenti merokok apabila rokok sulit dijumpai dan memiliki nilai jual yang tinggi. Satu hal yang perlu digaris bawahi adalah biaya belanja kesehatan yang dikeluarkan Negara akibat rokok jauh lebih besar dibandingkan devisa yang dihasilkan dari cukai rokok.
