Because of the change in the output power of solar cells by changing the radiation and temperature, it is required to receive the maximum power from solar array to be achieved the maximum efficiency using maximum power tracking methods. A large number of the maximum power methods have been introduced so far, but each has difficulty in terms of tracking speed and accuracy, and in practice, they have not been able to improve both of these factors. Among the commonly used methods, the incremental conductance method has a good tracking speed and accuracy, but at the same time, it cannot reach both to a desirable value. In this paper, a new method is proposed based on the above method that improves the mentioned factors simultaneously to an acceptable limit. The result of the simulation confirms the correctness of the claim of the proposed method.

It is generally accepted that the differential diagnosis of OCSCC is usually difficult and requires expertise and experience. Diagnosis from biopsy tissue is a complex process, and it is slow, costly, and prone to human error. To overcome these problems, a computer-aided diagnosis (CAD) approach was proposed in this work. A dataset comprising two categories, normal epithelium of the oral cavity (NEOR) and squamous cell carcinoma of the oral cavity (OSCC), was used. Feature extraction was performed from this dataset using four deep learning (DL) models (VGG16, AlexNet, ResNet50, and Inception V3) to realize artificial intelligence of medial things (AIoMT). Binary Particle Swarm Optimization (BPSO) was used to select the best features. The effects of Reinhard stain normalization on performance were also investigated. ...

To reduce cancer mortality, early diagnosis and treatment are essential in leading to a greater improvement and survival length of patients. In this paper, a hybrid feature selection technique (RF-GWO) based on random forest (RF) algorithm and gray wolf optimization (GWO) was proposed for handling high dimensional and redundant datasets for early diagnosis of colorectal cancer (CRC). Feature selection aims to properly select the minimal most relevant subset of features out of a vast amount of complex noisy data to reach high classification accuracy. Gray wolf optimization (GWO) and random forest (RF) algorithm were utilized to find the most suitable features in the histological images of the human colorectal cancer dataset. Then, based on the best-selected features, the artificial neural networks (ANNs) classifier was applied to classify multiclass texture analysis in colorectal cancer. A comparison betwe...

It is predicted to be a revolutionizing technology with the capability to alter wireless communication to enhance both spectrum and energy efficiencies with low expenditure and low energy consumption. Similarly, unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) communication has attained a significant interest by research fraternity due to high mobility, flexible deployment, and easy integration with other technologies. These personnel may make human mistakes that might affect the level of security. The human face plays an important role in social interaction, identifying people. Using the human face as a key to security, face recognition technology has received considerable attention, very popular and it is used more widely because it does not require any form of physical contact between the users and the device. This system is composed of two parts: the hardware part and the software part. The hardware part consists of a camera and a motorized microcontroller system, while the software part consists of face-detection and face-recognition algorithms depends on deep learning neural networks. A special database of colleagues was built consisting of about twenty images each. Different neural network architectures were tried on these data...

Wind patterns never let the wind farm on the wind farm site produce its maximum capacity during hours of heavy loading conditions. A new method is presented in this research to determine the maximum size of wind farms including voltage stability margin (VSM) and wind patterns at the wind farm site in the size of a wind farm. This plan is a method to increase the maximum size of a wind farm with a limited wind generation option under certain conditions based on VSM. The proposed method is applied to the wind farm in the IEEE 14-bus network power system. The results of the new method show that the maximum size of wind farms increases when the system operates with intermittent wind control to maintain the voltage stability.

Installing wind power in one area may affect VSMs in other areas of the power system. Buses with high VSMs before wind power injection may be converted into weak buses after wind power injections in other parts of power systems, which may lead to limited future wind farms expansion in other areas. In this paper, two methods are proposed to determine two new wind farms maximum size in order to maximize wind power penetration level. In both methods, the size of any new wind farm is determined using an iterative process which is increased by a constant value. Proposed methods were used in the IEEE 14-bus power system. The results of applying these new methods indicate that the second method results in higher maximum sizes than the first method.

Mobile phones started with first-generation (1G), then the successful second generation (2G), and then mixed successful auctions since the launch of 3G. According to business terms, 1G and 2G were providing voice and gradually include data (3G is unsuccessful, 4G is very successful). Today, we are seeing a stir over what 5G will provide. Key expectations currently being discussed include an ultra-high 20 Gb/s bit rate, an ultra-low latency of just 1 millisecond, and a very high capacity. Given the enormous potential of 5G communication networks and their expected evolution, what should 6G include that is not part of 5G or its long-term evolution? 6G communication networks should deliver improved range and data speeds, as well as the ability to connect users from anywhere. The basis of selecting the line capacity is the ability of the operator to preserve the allowed distance between the transmission line and the ground, trees, vehicles, and other obstacles that are directly under the line. One of the methods that increase the capacity of the employed line is the line monitoring equipment and using the dynamic capacity. Although the dynamic capacity method costs less than other options, it might be costly and laborsome. Thus, there should be a tradeoff between the dynamic and static capacity, known as the quasi-dynamic capacity. This term indicates that the dynamic capacity is used in studies for making logical decisions for changing the static capacity or operation of the operator. In many cases, this technology can be implemented temporarily and then removed or displaced for other applic...

In order to improve UHMWPE wear rates, it is necessary to develop efficient methods to predict its wear rates in various conditions and therefore help in improving its wear resistance, mechanical properties, and increasing its life span inside the body. This article presents a support vector machine using a grey wolf optimizer (SVM-GWO) hybrid regression model to predict the wear rates of UHMWPE based on published polyethylene data from pin on disc (PoD) wear experiments typically performed in the field of prosthetic hip implants. It has led to a significant reduction in power quality indicators. As a first step, the estimate of the amplitude, and the phase of the harmonics in the power grid are essential to resolve this problem. We use the Kalman filter to estimate the phase, and we use the minimal squared linear estimator to assess the amplitude. To test the aforementioned method, we use terminal test signals of the industrial charge consisting of the power converters and ignition coils. The results show that this algorithm has a high accuracy and estimation speed, and they confirm the proper performance in instantaneous tracking of the parameters.

The frequency selective nature of the channel favours the combination with a multicarrier approach such as orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM). However, as Doppler spread increases, OFDM loses its orthogonality, resulting in severe inter-symbol (ISI) and inter-carrier interference (ICI). This is addressed firstly by the generalisation of OFDM to fractional Fourier transform (FrFT)-based multicarrier approaches, which can provide better resilience in the presence of Doppler spread. Secondly, in higher mobility scenarios, an equalisation scheme is employed, whose lower complexity in an FrFT-based multicarrier setting can further minimised by a reduction of the equaliser. Simulation results highlighting the potential performance improvements are presented.
