Reading documents in the perspective of an "ethnography of the sources", a partly unknown and unpublished article by Ernesto de Martino (1941) was fully retrieved and is now totally readable in the appendix. Moreover, by critically and comparatively analyzing the biographical and bibliographical studies about Ernesto de Martino authored by historians, philosophers, historians of religion, anthropologists, etc., the present article broaches a few critical points in the specialists literature. In the closing section, a proposal is offered which focuses on the history of studies 2.0 based on the establishment of a network of researchers who may contribute to historiographic research in a more coordinated manner with the aim of sustaining and promoting a more penetrating diffusion of historiographic knowledge.

In most cases, symbolism has been analyzed above all in the magical-religious sphere. In the present study we propose an analysis of the symbolic construction processes in the secular field. Starting from environmental problems present in a region of Southern Italy, Campania, the article proposes a morphological and semantic analysis of waste fires. Considered as dead objects, domestic and industrial waste preserve a series of properties that generate social phenomena of risk and disease. By consulting digital, literary, iconographic sources, etc. the study offers an interpretation of symbols as factors of cultural destabilization and identity.

Based on various documentary sources, his figure and his work both as a versatile student and as a politically and socially committed man have been accurately examined, since his death, by historians, anthropologists, philosophers, etc. The present work, by comparing and analyzing new archival sources, some of which partly unknown, suggests important qualifications on De Martino's life and on his scientific and educational activity. More broadly, through De Martino's case analysis, this work deals with a few problems concerning the history of anthropology, particularly the theoretical and methodological aspects pertaining the protection, preservation, and fruition of archival sources.

In this work, drawing on various documentary sources, an anthropological analysis is proposed, which focuses exclusively on the beginning of the pandemic, in the months of January and February 2020. This choice makes it possible to grasp the social and political aspects that influenced the emergence of the problem, which must be placed in the political devices that have been used to unveil the anomaly and in the cultural models that make it possible to control order.

The oil industry is located close to a National Park, in a territory rich of water and landscape resources where there is a very important agricultural tradition. The essay, through field research and the use of extensive archival documentation, seeks to analyze the conflicts and the cultural changes products by the presence of oil companies that have produced a capillary redefinition of cultural identity, here called "identizzazione".
