Dentre algumas emoções presentes no ambiente esportivo pode-se destacar o medo e a ansiedade. O presente estudo teve como objetivo avaliar estas reações emocionais em atletas universitários, tentando perceber quais as reações estão mais presentes, bem com se há diferenças entre os sexos nos jogos da semifinal e final das competições universitárias. A amostra foi composta por 23 atletas do futsal feminino e 19 atletas do futebol de campo masculino. Para avaliar os aspectos emocionais dos atletas utilizou-se o IDATE (ansiedade) e o QEE (medo) respondidos pelos atletas antes dos jogos. O presente trabalho objetivou analisar o Projeto de Lei 5.534/2009 do deputado federal José Mento... more O presente trabalho objetivou analisar o Projeto de Lei 5.534/2009 do deputado federal José Mentor (PT-SP), cuja proposta visava “proibir a transmissão televisiva de toda e qualquer luta marcial violenta”, com destaque para o MMA (sigla em inglês para mixed martial arts) e seu potencial impacto negativo sobre os espectadores infantojuvenis. A presunção desse impacto, questão pertinente à Psicologia do Esporte, é o que se buscou problematizar e discutir, a partir de três eixos principais: um conceitual e histórico, referente ao MMA; um psicossocial, que investiga as percepções e reações sociais ao fenômeno; e um teórico, relativo ao modo como a criança reage à sua inserção cultural e àquilo que a legislação já prevê a fim de garantir seu direito a um contexto de desenvolvimento saudável.

Objective: To characterize the profile of the population assisted in the “ Less Pressure Campaign ” in 2018. Methods: This is a descriptive cross-sectional study based on the campaign MMM with the general public of the São Paulo city Brazil in May. The campaign comprised multi-professional interventions made by five workshops: 1)blood pressure(BP)measurement with automatic devices; 2)exercise guidelines; 3)anthropometry, i.e., measurement of weight, height, and abdominal circumference (AC) and calculation of body mass index (BMI); 4)nutritional guidance; and 5)psychological orientation. Data analysis was in accordance with the VII BSH Guidelines, which considered values ≥140mmHg for systolic BP (SBP) and ≥90 mmHg for diastolic BP (DBP) as altered.
