The design process and justification of the new machine will be described. The innovative technology turbine collects wind energy and converts it into electricity, which in turn produces a output more than 12 volt which is used to charge one heavy duty battery. As a result, the home is served simultaneously by the wind turbine and the utility. In this project, a small electricity generator has been specifically designed for household installation as well as for industrial use also. We are using a savonius rotor. This type of rotor (which is of the vertical axis variety) is chosen instead of a horizontal axis machine due to its simplicity and reliability. The S-rotor has been designed using an analytical method then analysis method is used for checking the blade sustainability capacity on different boundary conditions and finally model is fabricated on which output voltage is at very high rate as multiple DC generator arrangement is used for producing power. The generator runs with the help of spur gear which is mounted on rotating shaft. The design process, analysis and validation will be described in this project.
