It is a technology which delivers plenty of services to service users through internet. It takes users request as input and delivers the service in good manner. Cloud computing manages the numerous variety of virtualized resources and user request which makes scheduling an important one in order to manage it effectively. For every task thousands of virtualized assets are used. Task scheduling in cloud computing is the process of organizing the user task and allocating it with the suitable and available resources so that the available resources will be properly used and scheduling will be done effectively. There are numerous task scheduling techniques. This paper presents an alternative approach to task scheduling problem. It mainly focused on the time utilization and resource monitoring. The proposed method is Enhanced Resource Monitor and Scheduler (ERMS) which focus on both monitoring of available resources and scheduling of user task.Periodic push action method is used to get the status of virtual machine. The fitness value is calculated and scheduling is done. The process is implemented using ClouldSim 3.0 Simulator in NetBeans IDE.

It is widely examined to perform the spectrum management. Spectrum management is a technique used to efficiently utilize the available radio spectrum. Due to ever-increasing implementation in wireless communications, the classical static spectrum allocation stratagem fails to meet the new possible demands. In practice there remain many challenges and one of them is performing spectrum management in dynamic environment. To overcome this and manage the spectrum efficiently proper spectrum prediction and resource allocation to the secondary users (SUs) has to be done. In this paper prediction accuracy of available channels have been analyzed using Markov chain algorithms by implementing RF energy harvesting on SUs. Channel selection and Band utilization of SUs in Cognitive radio networks based on Dynamic user prediction (DUP) and spectrum prediction (SP) models were proposed.

There is a need to investigate this as the effects of improper storage and disposal methods can be detrimental – medicine that has expired or medicine that has been improperly stored may result in the medicine becoming toxic or ineffective due to the chemical alterations. Similarly can improper disposal of medicine result in damage to the environment.

The water table level in these rural areas is typically more than 15 m. Hence, deep bore-well submersible motors are used for extracting potable water from the water table. The motor and controller are submerged in the water table, and have more temperature rise due to the poor ambience. Thus, control of a PM PMSM motor with hall-effect based position sensor is unreliable in these environments due to the temperature sensitivity of the hall-effect sensors. In this paper, a single-stage sensorless control of a deep bore-well submersible ferrite PM PMSM motor drive is presented. A position sensorless control scheme is implemented to eliminate the use of hall-sensors, thus improving reliability of the overall system. Further, the challenges involved in the control of a deep bore-well submersi...

They are also widely used in process applications as well as the refrigeration and air conditioning industry. The robustness and medium weighted shape of Shell and Tube heat exchangers make them well suited for high pressure operations. In this paper we have shown how to done the thermal analysis by using theoretical formulae for this we have chosen a practical problem of counter flow shell and tube heat exchanger of water and oil type, by using the data that come from theoretical formulae we have design a model of shell and tube heat exchanger using Pro-e and done the thermal analysis by using ANSYS software and comparing the result that obtained from ANSYS software and theoretical formulae. For simplification of theoretical calculation...

Previous reports show values for excretion of near shore or bottom fish but not of pelagic species. Two species of anchovy and jack mackerel were placed in chambers and their nitro genous excretion products were measured. Ammonia, urea, and creatine accounted for 82% of the total nitrogen excreted by Engraulis mordax and the identified fraction was 83% ammonia, 16% urea, and 1% creatine.

This cross-sectional exploratory research seeks to compare performance of a purposive sample of 59 children in age range of S- 12 years on the test drawing activity by using computer based Paint Brush Program along with concurrent use of its traditional paper-pencil mode of test administration. Independent scoring by three mutually blinded examiners show no significant difference in scores of subjects between the two modes of administration (p >0.05). However, a consistent pattern of within group differences seen with higher scores for paper-pencil mode of administration on variables like gender, age, residence, type of syllabus, and family background (p 0.05). The findings are discussed with merits and demerits in the ongoing efforts to develop computer-enabled testing devices for children.

Background: Proper storage and disposal of medication is often neglected by the general public with serious consequences. Most pharmaceuticals past their expiry date become less efficacious or toxic and improper disposal may be hazardous if it leads to environmental contamination. Expired drugs or ineffective storage and disposal practices carry a public health risk. Method: The study was in the form of a questionnaire. The questionnaire, comprised of twenty questions, was designed using previous studies. A pilot test using ten people was undertaken to verify questionnaire suitability. The revised questionnaire was administered, with informed consent, to 200 randomly chosen participants in residential areas in the eThekwini area. The data was statistically analysed using SPSS. Results: The results indicated that most people bought their medication from the pharmacy (69%), and store...

The oceans are the repository for many chemicals of anthropogenic origin. Research in marine toxicology ultimately seeks to monitor and predict the effects of a toxicant and to understand how environmental pollutants might be endangering marine species. The analysis of biological damages (biochemical and histology) in conjunction with other endpoints provides the evaluation of new insights that could help the interpretation of the effects of contaminants on aquatic organisms.
Pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis (PLCH) is a rare idiopathic cystic interstitial granuloma... more Pulmonary Langerhans cell histiocytosis (PLCH) is a rare idiopathic cystic interstitial granulomatous lung disease seen almost exclusively in cigarette smokers. It typically occurs between 20-40 years of age and equally distributed among both sexes. Management includes smoking cessation, avoidance of second-hand smoke, and close follow-up. Corticosteroids may be required in those with symptomatic disease with worsening lung function despite smoking cessation and progressive nodular stage of the disease. Here, we report an interesting case of biopsy proven PLCH in a young never smoker female. Detailed questioning revealed significant exposure to incense smoke, highlighting a rare presentation of non-cigarette smoke related PLCH. Avoidance of incense smoke combined with oral prednisolone (0.5mg/kg) tapered over 6 months led to complete resolution of symptoms, disappearance of nodules in high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) of the thorax, and improvement in lung function. Thus we come up with solution for the following problems. First, Now-a-days, more number of accidents occurs during the time of Mist season due to invisibility of ahead vehicles by the drivers and we can resolve this by intimating the distance between the current and ahead vehicles to the driver using VFDT Algorithm. The next main reason for the accidents is, in normal times during traffic or overtaking the vehicle, the driver cannot able to predict the amount of brake applied by the before vehicle so the vehicle went to an accident with the before vehicle and thus the upcoming vehicles also get damaged. Thus we can resolve it by placing the LCD display at the Vehicle. Suppose if accidents occurred beyond the drivers control then our proposed system suddenly sends an info about the accident to the registered persons . Our proposed concept can be implement using IoT domain which performs all ...

In this paper, we develop an accurate and efficient Haar wavelet scheme for solving well-known one-dimensional reaction-diffusion equation. The power of this manageable method is confirmed. An attempt is made to combine the advantages of the ADM and Haar wavelets. The obtained numerical results have been validated against a closed form analytical solution as well as ADM results. Good agreement with the exact solution has been observed. Moreover the use of Haar wavelets is found to be accurate, simple, fast, flexible, convenient, small computation costs and computationally attractive.
