The objective of the paper is to analyze the chosen RDF concept reification, its utilization in various contexts, its alternative approaches and its limitations.

Cloud computing is a computing paradigm which involves outsourcing of computing resources with the capabilities of resource scalability, on demand provisioning with little or no up-front IT infrastructure investment costs. Resource Description framework is a semantic data model for cloud computing. This paper analyze RDF in terms of its present status, comparison between RDF and traditional data models, its usage in semantic web data management, overview of semantic web rule languages and finally its limitations in representing concepts are examined.

Semantic web makes a transformation to a format which is machine readable. RDF is the common format used in the Semantic Web to store data. SPARQL queries are able to retrieve more relevant results than general keyword routing on RDF data. RDF federations are capable of connecting multiple different kinds of data sources. Therefore an approach is introduced which can convert the keyword queries to SPARQL queries on a federation of different sources. Emerging semantic web technologies would be lots of information which is more structured and can be available which can logically queries for accurate search, but there is much complexity involved in current semantic query languages like RQL, SPARQL, RDQL. Semantic web is an extension of the current web in which information is given welldefined meaning, enabling computers and people to work in cooperation. This paper gives a brief picture of how Cloud computing and future web, semantic web technology evolved. However from the extensive literature survey, it is also observed that, these two technologies plays an interplay role with each other in solving complex problems. Furthermore an analysis of where semantic web technology meets cloud computing is carried out and briefly describes how Semantic web technology can be used to address the challenges of cloud computing.

Resource description framework (RDF) is the semantic data model for cloud computing which provides interoperability but is not effective in terms of scalability, formal semantics and query optimisation and reification. One of the key challenges in cloud computing therefore is to enhance RDF data model. This paper introduces a data model which uses hybrid approach of provenance aware context entity (PACE) and quadruples method of reification. The scope of the research is to understand the importance of RDF reification, limitations and its impact on creating an efficient data model. This hybrid RDF data model is deployed and tested for its performance on the AWS public cloud. Experimental results indicate that the proposed hybrid data model enhances accessibility, maintainability, and also accelerates query execution time.
