The study utilized descriptive Correlational Design. Moreover, the study was conducted at a selected dialysis center in Cebu City, catering to a diverse dialysis patient demographic. Participants will include adult patients (aged 18 years and above) diagnosed with end-stage renal disease (ESRD), undergoing regular dialysis treatment at the selected centers. The inclusion criteria will encompass patients who have been undergoing dialysis for at least three years. Likewise, a structured questionnaire, based on validated scales like the Acceptance of Illness Scale (AIS) by Felton et al. (1984) and the Morisky Medication Adherence Scale (2008), will be used to measure the patient's acceptance of their condition and their adherence to medication regimens. The study yielded that the sickness condition is accepted to a high degree and most of the respondents have a high level of adherence. The study also found a strong, positive correlation between individuals' acceptance of their disease condition and their medication adherence.

Employing a Posttest Non-equivalent Group pre-experimental research design to 34 students in Learning Support Program using the Philippine Informal Reading Inventory (Phil-IRI), the study reveals that the level of the oral reading of the majority of students at various levels are still at the frustration level with (LSP-Level 0 is 83.33 %, LSP-Level 1 is 40%, and LSP-Level 2 is 83.33 % ) in word recognition, (LSP-Level 0 is 58.33 %, LSP-Level 1 is 20%, and LSP-Level 2 is 16.67 %), (LSP-Level 0 is 91.67 %, LSP-Level 1 is 60%, and LSP-Level 2 is 75 %) in reading speed, and (LSP-Level 0 is 58.33 %, LSP-Level 1 is 30%, and LSP-Level 2 is 83.33 %) in comprehension. Additionally, the focused group discussion reveals that LSP helps them primarily with vocabulary building as the highlight, and the lack of differentiated instructional materials for the students as the lowlights of the LSP. Findings revealed that the Learning Support Program in Filipino is not effective in developing oral reading and comprehension among non-Filipino speaking students. The findings emphasize the need for instructional support across levels through comprehensive reading intervention.

It was participated in by 29 public school students with varied reading abilities. Using a single-group pretest-posttest quasi-experimental design, the researchers assessed the reading skills of students before and after implementing Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT) for one month in an English classroom. The data were gathered using the researchers-made questionnaires and analyzed using the Paired Samples T-test to determine the significance and the effectiveness of TBLT in their reading comprehension. Contrary to what was expected, the results indicated a decrease in the reading scores of the students in the post-test which shows that Task-Based Language Teaching was not effective for this group of students. The findings suggest that the effectiveness of Task-Based Language Teaching may vary depending on factors like age and learning environment. The limitations of the study include its short duration and the small sample size in which future researchers should also look into and consider a longer period in implementing TBLT in the classroom.

The study used a quantitative method and a descriptive design to collect data to determine the phenomenon under study. Fifty-five secondary teachers from public and private schools were selected randomly to participate in this study. Significantly, the results showed that there is a significant correlation between self-efficacy and anxiety. Self-efficacy levels of the surveyed teachers garnered a weighted mean of 3.80 with the interpretation of high self-efficacy and a 2.85 weighted mean for the anxiety level. The data gathered presented Pearson’s Coefficient -.379**, which could be interpreted as both variables having significant correlations and rejecting the null hypotheses. Results hereof will be shared with the administrators, teachers, and other parties concerned. These results importantly point to the significant relationship between self-efficacy and anxiety. School administrators may use this as a guide to emphasize the influence of gaining self-efficacy and having low or average anxiety levels in teaching or handling subjects unrelated to undergraduate specialization.

The study indicated that younger people were more likely to prevent than older people. This may be due to younger people's increased awareness and invincibility. The study also found that people who were enrolled in programs that clearly explained preventative actions were more inclined to participate. Effective communication and education are crucial to promote preventative behavior across age groups.

This study employed a descriptive correlation design in its research tasks.
