This study aims to analyze the implementation of sustainable event management in weddings and its... more This study aims to analyze the implementation of sustainable event management in weddings and its contribution to the environment, society, and the economy at The Apurva Kempinski Bali, Indonesia. The data collection method used in this study was by distributing questionnaires to 10 respondents and observing wedding event management. The data analysis method used is a descriptive statistical analysis by calculating the average and percentage of the questionnaire results. The results of the observations are described as reinforcement and explanation of the percentage results obtained from the questionnaire. The results of this study indicate that The Apurva Kempinski Bali has implemented sustainable wedding event management. The results of the questionnaire values obtained show a range of values from 2.60 to 3.40 which indicates poor implementation, then a range of 3.41-4.20 which states that it is implemented well, and a value range of 4.21 to 5.00 which states that it is implemente...
Purpose: This study aims to enhance knowledge and improvement in online digital marketing, especi... more Purpose: This study aims to enhance knowledge and improvement in online digital marketing, especially to increase domestic customers at 5-star luxury hotels in Nusa Dua, Bali, Indonesia. Research methods: Qualitative descriptive analysis technique is used to explain the development of digital marketing function towards tourism business. The object study is 5-star luxury hotels in Nusa Dua. Findings: Instagram performance during travel restriction and review in 4Ps marketing mix; product, price, place, and promotion. A strategy to increase and promote activities to meet customer needs in various occasion. Implication: Instagram has significant role in selling and promoting every brand of 5-star luxury hotels in Nusa Dua and its significant improvement following the updated technology progress and customer demand.

Research methods: The research uses a qualitative approach. The sampling used is purposive. The informant selected as a sample is considered to know the sustainability and organizing of the event. Data collection using in-depth interview methods and participatory observations of the event at Melali MICE. Results and discussion: The cost is high to meet the needs of a green environment and to meet the demands of clients who are not environmentally friendly. This makes Melali MICE less likely to implement sustainability practices in the events they organize Implication: Planning for environmentally friendly events is needed to prepare for pre-event, event and post-event consistently implement sustainability practices. Keywords: event, event organizer, MICE, environmental sustainability.

The shift in trends in organizing MICE events which are conventionally known as mass gathering ac... more The shift in trends in organizing MICE events which are conventionally known as mass gathering activities and as a result of the pandemic there have been changes. This already happened in all countries in the world which then responded with various policies to maintain business sustainability despite being pessimistic. Stakeholders are hesitant in changing the paradigm of MICE activities from conventional models to virtual or hybrid models. This doubt is caused by the advantages and disadvantages of each type of event which will most likely reduce business profits. A simple literature review known as feature selection is used to find answers to this problem. Based on the analysis it was found that event activities are now popular in virtual and hybrid ways. Both virtual and hybrid events have changed the conventional perspective of understanding events.
