The study aims to provide insights into the behavior of these structures and aid in designing safer and more efficient buildings. The research methodology comprises analytical and numerical simulations of both medium and high-rise buildings subjected to various lateral loads. The analytical approach involves the use of hand calculations and mathematical models to determine the response of the building under different loading scenarios. The numerical simulations utilize computer software to model the structural behavior of the buildings and predict their response to lateral loads. The study focuses on four main lateral load types: wind loads, seismic loads. The loading conditions are applied to the buildings individually, and their responses are compared in terms of their lateral displacement, drift, and acceleration. The results show that both medium and high-rise buildings are susceptible to lateral loads, and their response depends on various factors such as building height, stiffness, and load duration. The lateral displacement of the high-rise building is more significant than the mediumrise building under all types of loading conditions. The results also show that the acceleration of the highrise building is more significant under seismic loads than wind load. The study provides valuable insights into the behavior of medium and high-rise buildings under different lateral loading conditions. The findings of the study can be used to improve the design of these structures and enhance their resilience to lateral loads. The study recommends that designers should pay close attention to the building's lateral load resisting system and consider the impact of structural irregularities to ensure the building's safety and stability.

Nowadays suspension bridges are the pioneers in bridge technology. Of all the bridge types in use today, the suspension bridge allows for the longest span ranging from 2,000 to 7,000 feet. This type of bridge has cables suspended between towers and the cables support vertical suspender cables that carry the weight of the deck below. This arrangement allows the deck to be level or to arc upward for additional clearance. They are ideal for covering busy waterways. In this paper limitation, assumption analysis, how it can be constructing and loads acting on the bridge is described. Soil is collected from four different places i.e. belt of Burhi Gandak river viz Chanpatia, West Champaran (S1), Ramgarhwa, East Champaran (S2), Sagauli, East Champaran (S3), and Chiraiya, East Champaran(S4). Soil sample were collected over a period of four months i.e. from fifteen (15 th) November 2019 to fifteen (15 th) March 2020.there needs physical and chemical status of the Burhi Gandak river soil which gets fluctuation according to changing environmental condition. pH value of the soil across the sample location ranged between 6.58 ± 0.15 to 7.18 ± 0.20. Almost all the soil samples yielded the available nitrogen content varied from 72.29 ± 1.66 to 112.45 ± 5.85 Kgha-1 , the available phosphorous content varied from 2.91 ± 1.26 to 12.54 ± 5.86 Kgha-1 and potassium content 46.4 ± 10.35 to 94.86 ± 38.11 Kgha-1. The organic carbon values fluctuated from 0.4 ± 0.12% to 0.78 ± 0.18%, sulphur concentration varies from 20.44 ± 12.87 to186.56 ± 72.60 mg Kg-1. All the four samples S1, S2, S3 and S4 were sandy in nature. The analysis of soil and its crop productivity is fully associated with environmental conditions also.

Total cost of project is based on resources. For India the construction industry has contributed an estimated 6708 billion to the national GDP in 2011-12 which is a share of around 8%. This sector is both labour and machine intensive and provides employment to more than 35 million people, which is around 27% population of India. So, optimization of resources plays a vital role in saving of valuable natural resources and cost which is required to generate them. So, in this paper concept of optimization is understood clearly and try to implement it on bridge construction site. The case study is selected as Hyderabad metro project. In this project concreting of precast segment of bridge is considered. The main objective of study is to optimize the resource utilization on concreting activity by applying some operational research techniques such as transportation model, assignment model, EOQ etc. The paper also discussed the concept of multi agent negotiation used on site. Construction projects are unique in nature because construction activities are varies from project to project. Thus, it is not possible to apply result of optimization from any particular case study to any other construction site but the idea or technique regarding optimization till remains same for other sites.
