A cross sectional study was planned from 1 st March 2011 until 31 st May 2011. A 27 items questionnaire was used, scoring of the responses was done to classify the patient satisfaction in to sublevels.

Method: A cross-sectional based survey was conducted among randomly selected community pharmacists in Penang state, Malaysia. Data was analysed using the Statistical Package for Social Science Students SPSS 13®. Face-to-face interviews were conducted. A total of 85 community pharmacists were approached for this study.

It has been reported that community pharmacists often dispense medicines based solely on consumer request. The current study investigated consumers' non-prescription requests for prescription medicines, community pharmacists' efforts to ensure the correct dispensing of medicines and pharmacists' views on the incidence and reporting of adverse events in their practice.

Method A convenience sample was drawn from six Bangladeshi universities/medical colleges using an 18-item questionnaire. A total of n= 398 pharmacy and medical students were approached to participate. Scoring of responses was done for the 10 items in the perception section (score range 0–10).

To ensure the availability of up-to-date information, pharmacists should have access to reliable drug information. The current study was an effort to explore the use of drug information resources at a community pharmacy in Penang Island, Malaysia. This study also explores nonprescription requests, with a special emphasis on pharmacists' agreement to dispense medicines without a prescription.

Seventy-four pharmacists were approached using six clusters from the most populous areas of Alahsa, Eastern region Saudi Arabia. Of whom n= 71, responses were taken in consideration to perform the statistical analysis. Scoring of pharmacist demonstration was done using a nine-step checklist for the appropriate use of inhaler. A simulated patient approach was used to assess the pharmacist skill.

Non-parametric statistics was applied to analyse the data. RESULTS: Four hundred participants were recruited.

Methods: Interviews were conducted with four students at University Sains Malaysia with current or past Rove beetle skin infections. Information on the onset of symptoms, complication, treatment and duration of symptoms were recorded. A physician at a local clinic was also interview to describe the challenges in diagnosis and therapy for this condition.
