Due to high cost of the laser scanner, an alternative technique is developed. Reflectorless Robotic Total Station is a motor driven total station which capable of reflectorless measurement. It can be handled via hand computer. Additionally, it can be used image taken with different cameras. So, we can select for scanning area on image. Both image point and ground point can be measured. The transformation is realized between image coordinates and ground coordinate system. The selected area on image is scanned by requested interval and the point cloud of object is obtained. The point cloud is processed by software which can be processed data obtained by laser scanner. In this paper, the surveying of the sarcophagus is obtained by Reflectorless Robotic Total Station. The Sarcophagus is typical of sidamara and belongs to Roman Period 250-260 A.D. Modeling of sarcophagus has been carried...

Çini, which is a branch of ceramic art that developed in Central Asia, was brought to Anatolia by the Seljuks. It occupied a very important place in Ottoman architectural decoration and had very prominent place in the history of Islamic art. This branch of art had embellished mosques, madrasas (theological schools), tombs and palaces, kiosks, fountains, internal and external parts of similar buildings and Seljuk mosques, madrasas, tombs and palaces were decorated with exquisite tiles. From very old times, Turks had preferred to embellish their buildings with tiles and they had started to adorn their places of worship with the tiles. This preference became a tradition in the period of Anatolian Seljuks, continued in the period of Ottoman and this traditional art continued until the first years of Republic...

Ayni noktalar, farkli SYM'ler yardimiyla ü...

In this study, Knidos is documented with photogrammetric method and a rolove of the antique theater is prepared. This work will provide sensitivity for possble future restoration activities. The data will be used for protection, restoration and documentation activities of these activities which may decrease the cost of this process. Additionally, the study will offer multidisciplinary data which may be used by practitioners in the field.

Digital cameras are being used in computer vision applications commonly. Digital cameras have been absolutely calibrated to use precision need works. Photogrammetry is based on direct measurement of the objects which is captured with the digital cameras and images. Camera parameters are determined with camera calibration procedures as mathematically. Images coordinates (u, v) and object space coordinates (X, Y, Z) have been modeled with analytical relationships and transformations have been completed. In this study Nikon D100 digital SLR (Single Lens Reflex) camera have been used to take images of the test object from different points. A software, which have capability of the calculate camera calibration parameters; have been developed in Delphi program language. Direct Linear Transformation (DLT) methods have been used to cal...

The potential use of 3D photomodelling in volume calculation of complex objects which may not be accessible and are sometimes in a risky location was studied using an excavation area and a natural hill as examples. The volumes obtained from 3D photomodels of objects were compared with the volumes calculated using geodetic techniques. The results were analyzed with respect to time, cost, and accuracy. It was found that the photogrammetric method has advantages of 21.89 % in time, 12.11 % in accuracy, and 33.33 % in cost as compared to the classical method. Key words: volume calculation, digital close range photogrammetry, excavation, 3D

In this study, Images, which have 1/10000 and 1/16000 scale, and a test area established about 1 km 2 in Selcuk University Campus Area were used. Aerial photographs were scanned by ZEISS SCAI Photogrammetric Scanner (pixel size is 21µ). Aerial images, which have 1/10000 scale, were restitutied by Zeiss Planicomp P3 Analytical Instrument. The DEM, which belong to test area, were produced by progressive, selective and composite sampling methods. We have developed a new software on PC's that can automatically generate DEM from stereo aerial images for restitution of images 1/16000 scale. In this software, pixel and image coordinates of points in left and right image are calculated by using colinearity equations. Left and right windows are matched and this process is repeated in various ±∆Z range. Elevation values obtained from the ...

Aksaray as being a door to Capadoccia, with cultural existence also with natural richness has been offering visitors different cultural heritages. Aksaray is in Middle part of Anatolia and also one of the most important centres of historical Silk Road. Aksaray is located on junction of east-west and north-south connected roads. One of the most important historical places that are cultural heritages is KIZIL KILISE (RED CURCH) As it was built by using red cut stones, it is called "red church". It is in Sivrihisar village, in Güzelyurt. The central dome of the building rests on four pillars. The frescoes were damaged. There are the portraits of the apostles and the paintings of biblical scenes in frescoes. The church dates from V. and VI. Centuries...

These methods are most commonly used for mapping large areas from aerial photographs. Digital close range photogrammetry is a technique for accurately measuring objects directly from photographs or digital images captured with a camera at close range. Multiple, overlapping images taken from different perspectives, produces measurements that can be used to create accurate 3D models of objects With the development in technology, digital close range photogrammetry and laser scanning are affecting import degree, with the improvement of hardware and software products. Some studies can be made more economically, more accurately and faster. Digital close range photogrammetry and laser scanning can be apply very different disciplines. In this study, the situation of digital close range photogrammetry and laser scanning has been investigated in volume calculation. For this purpose...
