Our model, in the encoder phase, projects all contextual embeddings into multiple latent semantic spaces, with representations of each space attending to a specific aspect of semantics. Long-term dependencies among the whole document are captured via the intra-attention module. A gate is produced to control the degree to which the retrieved dependency information is fused and the previous token embedding is exposed. Then, in the interaction phase, the context is aligned with the query across different semantic spaces to achieve the information aggregation. Specifically, we compute inter-attention based on a sophisticated feature set. Experiments and ablation studies demonstrate the effectiveness of ATNet.

The PI/silica hybrid films possess lower coefficient of thermal expansion, higher thermal stability, and better mechanical properties at room temperature compared with neat PI films. However, the mechanical properties of PI/SiO2 hybrid films by the traditional process decreased fast by the addition of SiO2 particles at higher silica content because of the fast increase of particle size; moreover, few studies have been carried out on cryogenic properties of the PI/SiO2 hybrid films. The mechanical properties at 77 K of the films prepared by the new process have been studied. The morphology of the films has been characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM) observation. It is shown that the newly developed sol-gel process led to smaller silica particle sizes than the traditional sol-gel process did. The PI/SiO2 hybrid films prepared by the new process show better cr...

We focus on wall ringing multipath exploitation in this paper. Firstly, the wall ringing multipath model is established with multiple-input and multiple-output (MIMO)array antennas. Then an association between the genuine target and its multipath ghost is established. Finally, wall ringing multipath exploitation is performed. Finite-different-time-domain (FDTD)simulation results demonstrated that the exploitation can suppress the ghost and enhance the genuine target effectively.

To solve the two problems existing in the traditional level set graph, namely the increase of image segmentation and the increase of computation, the Fuzzy C-Means (FCM) and level set are introduced. A new algorithm for image segmentation based on fuzzy level set is proposed in this paper. The algorithm can use spatial fuzzy clustering to realize the parameter estimation and evolutionary adjustment. The algorithm is applied to optical remote sensing ship target image segmentation in complex sea environment, and the effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by experiment results.

Focusing on this task, we employ a composite model to infer behaviors of learners in the coming weeks based on his/her history log of learning activities, including interaction with video lectures, participation in discussion forum, and performance of assignments, etc. The prediction accuracy of our proposed model outperforms related methods. Besides, we try combining the model with suggested interventions, such as sending reminder emails to at-risk learners. Future work, which is currently underway, will evaluate its influence on mitigating dropout rate.

In this paper, we propose a natural language dialogue based MOOC guider, which helps users to find a preferred course and provide more information of courses according to a user’s requests. Our method is an end-to-end neural network based method and can be trained efficiently using multi-stage training. Experiments show that our method can understand users’ intent well and produce proper response to finish the task.

Activated protein C (APC) was implicated to play a neuroprotective role in central nervous system diseases. However, its role in SAH remains unclear. Our study aims to investigate the role of APC and its regulatory mechanism in SAH. The SAH rat model was constructed by internal carotid artery puncture. The SAH cell model was established by the application of oxygen hemoglobin. ELISA was performed to detect the level of cytokines. Flow cytometry was used to detect the population of pyroptosis cells. Neurological functions of rats were estimated using modified Garcia scoring and balance beam test. SAH hemorrhage was estimated using modified Sugawara's scoring. APC was significantly increased and NLRP3 was decreased in SAH rat model in a time-dependent manner. The application of APC recombinant protein 3K3A-APC could notably ameliorate SAH hemorrhage and improve neurological functions. Besides, 3K3A-...

The traditional ICP registration algorithm depends on the initial position of the point cloud. Otherwise, it may get trapped into local optima. In addition, the registration method based on the feature learning of PointNet cannot directly or effectively extract local features. To solve these two problems, this paper proposes SAP-Net, inspired by CorsNet and PointNet++, as an optimized CorsNet. To be more specific, SAP-Net firstly uses the set abstraction layer in PointNet++ as the feature extraction layer and then combines the global features with the initial template point cloud. Finally, PointNet is used as the transform prediction layer to obtain the six parameters required for point cloud registration directly, namely the rotation matrix and the translation vector. These magnetic minerals exposure could affect microbial community composition and geographic distribution. Here, we reported magnetic susceptibility is involved in determining bacterial α-diversity and community composition in surface sediment across Bohai Sea. Environmental factors (explained 9.80%) played a larger role than spatial variables (explained 6.72%) in conditioning the bacterial community composition. Exposure of magnetite center may shape geographical distribution of five dissimilatory iron reducing bacteria (DIRB). Microbial iron reduction ability and electroactive activity in sediment close to magnetite center are stronger than those far away. Our study provides novel understanding for response of DIRB and electroactive bacteria to magnetic minerals exposure.
