Ryan Jai Hokimi, a senior studying computer science, recently co-founded a startup that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to automate the sales tax refund process for businesses and tax firms. At the Penn State Board of Trustees meeting today (Sept. 6), Jai Hokimi will talk about his entrepreneurial success as a student — for which he gives much credit to the University’s resources, programs and networks.

Through recent support from the College Township Industrial Development Authority, Happy Valley LaunchBox powered by PNC Bank is now able to reach more State College community entrepreneurs through an Idea TestLab program specifically designed to support them.
