O... more Enterprise-level networks are designed to provide a fast way of communication across the globe. One of the most popular protocols used for such a network is known as MultiProtocol Label Switching (MPLS). Due to the fast packet forwarding mechanism from source to destination with the Quality of Service (QoS) feature, MPLS is capturing significant attention in the related market of network protocols. Due to the proliferation of mobile devices, end nodes are expected to accomplish mobility behavior more frequently nowadays. This study aims to explore, examine and propose a smooth mobility handling technique that helps in the deployment of MPLS-based wireless networks. Some solutions have already been proposed to manage such kind of mobility, however, they suffer from drawbacks like higher delay, packet loss, and bottleneck during handoff operation, In this research work, the complete lifecycle of MPLS packet is described, from entering into the MPLS clouds to reaching its destination without compromising QoS and layer overlapping. The presence of a stack table at every Edge Router (ER) helps to manage packet information of missing or moved MNs for future use. Simulation of the proposed idea is performed in Network Simulator (NS-2), and User Datagram Protocol (UDP) is used as the source for packet transmission from the Internet and MPLS cloud to the MN. By concentrating on the packet lifecycle in the entire communication, results are obtained from the simulation and compared with previously proposed models. These results noticeably illustrate that how the new proposed scheme is better to packet loss, Packet Delivery Ratio Fraction (PDF), Normalize Routing Load (NRL), and delay as compared to the existing solution.

The emerging wireless networks are rapidly becoming a fundamental part of medical solutions due to increasing accessibility for healthcare professionals/patients reducing healthcare costs. Discovering the routes among hosts that are energy efficient without compromise on smooth communication is desirable. This work investigates energy efficiency of some selected proactive and reactive routing protocols in wireless network for healthcare environments. After simulation and analysis we found that DSR is best energy efficient routing protocol among DSR, DSDV and AODV, because DSR has maximum remaining energy.

The sharing of resources requires proper access control management to limit access as per the requirements of the users. Therefore, the privacy concerns in OSN have gained more attention in recent years. Existing solutions provided by the OSNs are to group the friends in static contact lists (e.g., friends, close friends, etc.). However, the contact lists may contain some irrelevant users, therefore, fine-grained access control management is required in these mechanisms. Moreover, in the existing systems, the predefined policies are implemented on a set of users that also include a group of users that may be irrelevant to the resource. In OSNs, privacy settings are managed by the users. However, due to the users’ lack of technical knowledge, they are unable to set privacy settings. To palliate these limitations, we propose an automated and dynamic access control management (AD-ACM) to enhance the privacy of text-based resources in OSNs.

Some are good in a small network; some are suitable in large networks, and some give better performance in location or global networks. Today modern and innovative applications for health care environments based on a wireless network are being developed in the commercial sectors. The emerging wireless networks are rapidly becoming a fundamental part of every single field of life. Our proposed DEERP framework gives a better performance as compared to other routing protocol.

It is an independent network that is connected by wireless link so, in which every point or device work as a router. In this network every node forward the packets to the destination as a router and it's not operating as an ending point. In this network every node adjusts them self by on his way in any direction because they are independent and change their position regularly. There are exist three main types of routing protocols which are reactive, proactive and final is hybrid protocols. This whole work compares the performance of some reactive protocols which also known as on - demand protocols, which are DSR, AODV and the final is AOMDV. DSR and AODV are reactive protocols which connected the devices on the network when needed by a doorway. The AOMDV protocol was designed for ad hoc networks whenever any route or link fail and also maintain routes with sequence numbers to avo...

The modern and innovative applications based on wireless network are being created in the commercial sectors. The routing protocol follows some standards in wireless MANET’s. These standards control the number of hosts that come to a harmony in such a way that routing packets between all the hosts in the network. The energy efficiency, network stability, security and performance analysis etc are lot of challenges which are facing wireless MANETs. Today MANET’s gain much more attraction due to its use in everywhere in our daily life. Therefore researchers proposed many good routing protocols. In this research article, we investigate performance analysis of some well known wireless routing protocols on the basis of PDR (Packet Delivery Ratio), ROH (Routing Over head), end-to-end delay and throughput.
