At the end of 2004, the sector survived the Multi-Fiber Arrangement (MFA) phase out as it triumphed over the relative emerging economies and continues to remain internationally competitive till date. The dynamic development of the industry has entailed great diversity in efficiency in comparison with the garment industries of other developing countries. Although there is a significant scale effect in profitability and productivity, no supporting evidence was found for the positive impact on competitiveness of industrial upgrading in terms of usage of expensive machinery, vertical integration, and industrial agglomeration. However, the painfully crippling state of working conditions for the labour, the safety hazards that they are forced to work in, and bleak future prospects ahead of them are just some of the concerns of the Bangladesh RMG sector. Amongst the garment workers 70 per cent are women, they toil from dawn to dusk even up to late night in spite of the wage discriminations and below satisfactory working levels. Affording daily items such as foods, cloths, housing, medicines, and even education of their wards necessitates umpteen of sacrifices. As a result, their children are deprived from their care and suffer from grave malnutrition coupled with unhygienic complexities. They simply have no time or scope for recreation and are even at times employed in making the garments themselves. Market force, represented by low wage of labor, the lackadaisical government attitudes, the negligence of legislative and the executive arms of the state and the dynamism inside the industry are just some of the factors responsible for their exploitation. The roles of the government, industrial associations and technology transfer are also known to affect the workers negatively. The research is aimed at exploration of the major causes that have resulted in the widespread deprivation of the workers in the Bangladesh RMG sector.

It further examines the market forces and market failures that lead to rural distress. Forces that limit the applicability of the existing urban/regional theories towards problems and issues specific to the rural context. To elucidate the issues better, the paper reviews modern research concerning rural development in the U.S., outlining the major indicators of U.S. rural distress.
“Rural development research” is about the processes that determine the uneven geographic distribution of population, industry, and returns to nonfarm economic activities, given geographic variation in natural endowments, including research about the effects of policies. People, farms, and nonfarm businesses consume space, are separated by distances from each other and from urban areas, and distances are costly to traverse.

Unlike the European settlers that came from the 1600, the Mi’kmaq have been inhabiting here from a very long historical timeline. The aboriginal tribe refers to their national territory as Mi'kma'ki, and the First Nation has a population of about 40,000. Close to 11,000 people speak Mi'kmaq, and the language is of the Eastern Algonquian language subgroup.
The Mi'kmaq First Nation is also a part of the Wabanaki Confederacy ("People of the First Light" or "People of the Dawnland"), a Native American confederation of five principal nations. The First Nations comprising the Wabanaki confederacy include the Mi'kmaq, Passamaquoddy, Abenaki, Maliseet and Penobscot. Before Canadian Government passed the Indian Act of 1876 that necessitated the First Nations to establish representative elected governments, the Santé Mawiómi, or Grand Council served as the traditional senior level of government for the Mi’kmaq people (Wikipedia).

The fast increasing dependence on networking technology has rapidly changed the way humans think. It has even restructured workings of the brain, as internet activity affects the prefrontal cortex. The argument is of grave consequences, as increasing exposure to the distorting and disrupting internet is resulting in sweeping changes in cognitive thoughts, as empathy, human connections, emotional bonds, intellectual capabilities and a continued chain of thoughts necessary for deep level thinking are disappearing from the general perceptions. The consequential insinuations of an increased dependence on the internet, intertwined in the modern society are resulting in a depraved state of intelligence and cognitive growth for the society as a whole.

The paper attempts to investigate the claims of land rights over such disputed territories, and with whom precisely should reside the legal consent for developing the landscape. Is it the Native Residents, the aboriginals inhabiting for centuries, or the neo-colonial national/provincial/federal governments claiming to be sole representatives of all law abiding citizens and bent on undermining the native’s autonomy.

The paper revolves around the socio-economic advantages from cultural diversity benefitting Canada with respect to specific aspects such as individual earnings, workplace productivity, labour force, as well as the global competitive advantages secured over the past historical epoch of Globalization. The paper starts with a brief introduction of Canadian Multiculturalism and the experience, followed by a review of the dominant literature relevant to the topic. This is followed by brief summaries of the socio-economic impacts of diversity on the Canadian way of life, backed up with in-depth statistical analysis along with validated research knowledge that attest to the wide-ranging advantages arising out of cultural diversity. The three factors elaborated in the thesis apart from articulating upon the negligible erosion of welfare state as a result of multiculturalism in Canada are - Workplace productivity, Labour force, and Native Born Individual Earnings.

In today's modern times, the saddest thing is that voters process and treat candidates as well as political parties as consumer products, in more than one way. The advent of politically commercial products with defined sets of values and principles, instead of the paltry-simplistic products/services(commodities) for profit have further distorted the scene. The inefficacy of internet votings is primarily due to the fact that voters tend to follow specific patterns of casting ballots, based on the market politicization and political campaigns, and that a subsequent raise in voter turnout does not necessarily translates into a developed, enhanced Canadian democracy.

Their rise from third to first in one election is unprecedented. The scale of victory can be gauged by th party’s performance in the Atlantic and Northern Canada electoral districts, whilst securing more than half the seats in Quebec and over two-thirds in Ontario. The complications of such an ambiguous affair gained extreme relevance in the light of the emergence of trading blocs and the gradual removal of national borders. This is turn has made it all the more important to have at one's disposal a well-developed body of regional economics, for ably comprehending such particular forms of economic integration and its potential consequences.

All on the basis of differences in portfolio preference, and/or the market imperfections. Another major issues explored by the paper deal with the existing levels of scrutiny, the current analysis concerning the regional money supply and its endogeneity or exogeneity. It further delves deep into the relative independence of the regional supply of and demand for money, or for credit. An important question that also serves as the starting point of our paper, Is regional activity influenced more by exogenously determined national monetary conditions (so that regional monetary conditions are unimportant for analytical purposes) or is it influenced more by highly elastic interregional capital flows responding to relative changes in regional rates of return?

Polonnaruwa is located in north-central Sri Lanka and it houses perhaps the most breathtaking of the world’s representations of the Gautam Buddha – the Gal Viharaya. Family history is dominated by active support systems, not necessarily between young supporting the old as its generally a ‘two-way street.”

It is technically a land-dispute and like all such issues, it can be solved in the court of law. At the heart is the basic ideologue of ‘divine entitlement’ (Rowen, Sandbox). The Israelis as per The Old Testament, want the land for themselves, while the Palestinians that have been living here for centuries legally are entitled but face tough competition from the other warring faction.

That the media is structurally bound to manufacture consent and is wholly complicit in furthering the interests of dominant elite groups in society.

In a broadest sense, Postcolonial literature includes works that have a relationship with the subjugating forces of imperialism and colonial expansion. Numerous novelists, dramatists, and poets have Since the 1980s, been labelled as postcolonial writers. In short, postcolonial literature arose primarily since the end of World War II from regions that were undergoing a decolonization process along with the development of society.
The central argument of this thesis is an extremely controversial and has been the bone of contention in clashes involving aboriginal and federal governments all around the world.

Polonnaruwa is located in north-central Sri Lanka and it houses perhaps the most breathtaking of the world’s representations of the Gautam Buddha – the Gal Viharaya. Constructed by the Great King Parakramabahu in the 12th century CE, this rock temple was central attraction of the local power structure accommodating four massive Buddha statues carved into the face of a granite boulder. Beautifully carved and intrinsically decorated with figurines that adorn these majestic sculptures, the Gal VIhara is the epitome of Buddhist art on the island of Buddha, that's today known as Sri Lanka.
