Karl Lorey is a computer scientist, entrepreneur, and venture capitalist. He has studied computer science at the university of Würzburg and at Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. During his studies he published three scientific papers and wrote his master thesis on the impact of personality on programmers' online behavior. His focus is data analysis, machine learning, and scraping. He has also founded several companies, e.g. a company that helps foreign programmers to find a job in Germany as well as Germany's first student-run venture capital firm.
