The synthesis and characterization of polyurethane microcapsules are studied making use three molecular weight poly (ethylene glycol), poly (propylene glycol) and tolylene-2, 4-diisocyanate. Antitubercular drugs such as isoniazid, ethionamide or rifampicin were The antitubercular effect of polyurethanes was tested using disc diffusion method ...

Synthesis and blend preparation methods and their physical-chemical and physical-mechanical properties were investigated. It was observed widening of bands in FTIR spectra, in comparison with the composites reported from our earlier studies. However, it was not detected any physical-chemical interactions between two ingredients of the blend, which could be characterized as a typically compatible polymer blend at the content of PETP up to 25 wt.%. Such new polyimide composite could be utilized as devices, which show both high thermoresistance and stability of polyimide and elastic properties of poly(ethylene terephthalate).

The free-radical copolymerization of this monomer with dimethylacrylamide or acrylamide in aqueous solutions afforded new hydrophilic copolymers which at pH 4 and temperatures below 27 C give rise to complexes stabilized by intra-and intermolecular hydrogen bonds involving carbonyl and carboxyl groups of monomer units. It was shown ...

Initial polyimide films are cast from reaction solutions on a glass substrate. The solutions are prepared through the polycondensation of dianhydride of tricyclo [4.2. 2. 2.5] dec-7-ene-3, 4, 9, 10-tetracarboxylic acid and 4, 41-diaminodiphenyl oxide in N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone at 160 C.
