After completion of my Masters in 1982, from University of Calcutta, West Bengal, India, I started my research career with experimental nuclear physics, under the supervision of Prof. S.N. Ghoshal, one who experimentally verified the compound nuclear model. At that time the pre-compound nuclear model was formulated, and my motivation was to prove the so-called exciton model. The experiment was carried out at Variable Energy Cyclotron centre (BARC) at Kolkata. VECC was then not operating perfectly and after two years, I left. In the meantime, I was working on some problems of fluid dynamics with Dr. Dipankar Ray and published four papers in Journals, like Journal of Physics D, Journal of Mathematical Physics, Plasma Physics and controlled fusion etc. The second phase of my research career starts when I shift to Jadavpur University and started working under direct supervision of Prof. A. Banerjee, who did his Ph.D. under the supervision of Prof. A. K. Raychaudhuri, who formulated the Raychaudhuri equation. I did my study on "Imperfect and Perfect fluid in Cosmology" by 1986 and Joined Jangipur College, Murshidabad, as Lecturer in Physics. Presently, I am an Associate Professor of Physics. Presently, I have published 73 research papers in esteem Journals, which are available in different cites (publons, google scholar, research gate, orchid, mendeley, slac inspire etc.). Five of my students have been awarded the Ph.D. degree, and two are continuing their research. I regularly review published article (Math. Rev.) and also act as referee in many esteem journals. These are available in 'Publon reviews'. I have visited several esteem universities and research institutes. I am interested in trekking in Himalayas.
