The system services both high-density suburban cities as well as New York City residents that often travel to the suburbs for work. Many of its routes serve popular retail corridors and entertainment destinations, staffed by workers that generally work beyond the typical 9 to 5 of a suburban commuter. However, no current Bee-Line buses are scheduled to run on a 24-hour basis, despite the amount of workers that rely on the system. This project seeks to identify which Bee-Line bus routes should be eligible for 24-hour service based on their connectivity between New York City subway stations and retail clusters in Southern and Central Westchester County.
