So, I loved this film (despite its many flaws) mostly because Jean Simmons is fantastic in this and WHY does nobody talk about this performance?!

On further thought I downgraded this because I genuinely think this film is sympathetic to Nazis and while yes Nazis are people they are also fucking Nazis.

Also Sam Rockwell and Alfie Allen’s characters are suggested to be in some sort of queer relationship and I’m really not ok with this film jokingly queering characters who would have actively participated in the extermination of queer people.

This movie is very very bad.
