16 January 2025. OpenAthens, a leading single sign-on library solution, is proud to announce it received a platinum award in LibraryWorks' eleventh annual Modern Library Awards (MLAs) for the seventh year in a row.
The MLAs were created to recognize the top products and services in the library industry. Only customers with experience of these products and services were permitted to judge, resulting in a truly unbiased score. Each judge scored the product from 1-10 on a series of questions regarding quality, functionality, value, and customer satisfaction.
Commenting on OpenAthens' total score of 9.24, commercial director Jon Bentley stated:
"The Modern Library Award means a great deal to the entire OpenAthens team because it comes directly from the community. Over many years, it will be 30 in 2025, we have put the library and the librarian at the heart of our product development. Feedback from the library judges was anonymized by LibraryWorks and reflects OpenAthens' commitment to a customer-centric product and high-quality customer service.
