Introduction to Machine Learning

Abstract

This chapter aims to make an introduction to the field of machine learning and to clarify the scope of similar domains, particularly deep learning. It also aims to compare different machine learning approaches, introduce some of the popular machine learning models, mention significant machine learning concepts, and walk you through the steps of machine learning. This chapter is a very significant one since deep learning is a subsection of machine learning, and therefore, most explanations are also valid for deep learning.
