Abstract

URLLC and eMBB are two typical scenarios of 5G networks: eMBB is mainly designed for public UEs to provide broad-bandwidth and high-bitrate communication service while URLLC is mainly designed for vertical industries which have high requirements in latency and reliability to provide ultra-reliable and low latency communication service. The two communication services hold different characteristics and different kinds of consumers. There are issues about resource multiplexing and resource preemption when they are deployed in the same network. This paper investigates the schemes for the resource multiplexing when the two services coexist from the aspects of management and the technologies involved are introduced in detail.
