Hello everyone! Hope you’re all doing well. Today, I'm excited to share some new learnings in the field of DevOps, specifically around building scalable automation using the Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) lifecycle. One powerful tool in this space is Webhook Relay. 1. The webhook are useful for delevering automated event updates about the job and the changes happen in the source code. 2. We hooks are used to trigree the events automatically when any new change happens in the code, not only in code but their are several examples such as in payment gateway etc. 3. In Jenkins we hooks are used widely for triggering the jobs automatically when any new commit happens in the source code because we want the latest build of the application to serve the end user with the latest version of the application. 4. To get notified about the changes and to trigger the build in Jenkins automatically the we hook needs to keep the watch continuously on the change and require to do the polling every time. 5. This polling method is not a good approach because it increases the time period of triggering the build on Jenkins and due to this delay in delivering the latest changes of the applications to the end users. 6. Imagin if their are hundreds of repos in SCM and and if we commit any changes in every repo in same time then which one will Trivede the build firt on Jenkins it very and webhook needs to keep a continuous watch on the scm , so it is very difficult to manage. So for this problem we have an effective solution webhook relay. 7. Webhook relay is used to securely transfer the commits to Jenkins server and trigger the build , without touching to a firewall and public network. And like normal webhook it does not require to keep the continues watch on the change in scm. 8. Whenever a new commit added in the code first the request goes in the relay bucket. Bucket is used to store all the incoming requests that are going on Jenkins and it also keeps the keep the detail logs and also inform us about the delivery status of the commit is success or a failure. 9. The webhook relay is hevaly used when the Jenkins server is deployed in a private network and scm is on public network. If any new changes is added in source code and pushed to the scm than Jenkins server will not able to recognise the change because to reach this change the firewall blocks the request to reach the Jenkins server. So to avoid this situation webhook relay help us to securely transfer the commits with jour disturbing the the firewall. 10. By doing this activity we will get the fast and efficient CI/CD experience and to deliver the upgrades effectively. MCA provides an opportunity to some students who have specific interest in computer application which has vast syllabus and job opportunities as well. there are limited seats in BTech cs. There is no dearth of good students in the country problem is opportunity. For most of the software development knowledge of Maths, logical reasoning and computer application is sufficient which is what MCA entrance focuses on for these prestigious colleges. Why it should be mandatory for students to clear Engg entrance exams where focus is on other difficult subjects like like chemistry, physics to be able to pursue their interest in software development and spend lacs of money for coaching for each of these subjects. Computer Science and Computer Application are two different fields. As far as I have seen MCA courses in prestigious colleges have got successful outcomes in terms of good students and company placements. I don't understand why these colleges want to stop a course which is running good. I think its mostly because students from every other BTech branch wants a software job. What's the use of BTech then? should we reduce seats in BTech?

🍛📱 As a daily user of the Zomato App, tracking the order status has been a bit tedious with having to open the app to view the live status of the order. 🔧💡 Thus to solve this problem of mine, I decided to reverse engineer the Zomato Android App and build my own Live Order Tracking system similar to iOS Activity Indicators. 👨‍💻🚀 I managed to find the required API endpoints and built myself a small app using Jetpack Compose, Retrofit, Kotlin Flows and Foreground Service to show a constant notification of my Order Status. When I started out CP, there were very few resources like usaco.guide and CP algorithms. But these resources weren't that beginner friendly. So, newcomers would face a lot of problems going through these resources. Most of the resources in India were paid. But we wanted to create free beginner friendly resources. This is the reason we worked on Ask Senior. We wanted to create a platform for problem solving which would include all the topics required and help anyone in grinding the problems. We succeeded in making such a platform, also known as Road to Candidate Master sheet - asksenior.in/learn. This is the perfect roadmap for anyone containing hints and solutions to 50% of the problems out of 2000+ problems.

Mastering Node.js seemed like scaling a tech giant's fortress to me, and here's why👇🏻 Every tech forum and discussion was abuzz with talk of asynchronous programming in Node.js, and honestly, the concept was daunting. I was convinced it would be an arduous journey of trial and error spread over countless weeks, maybe even years. But, I was mistaken. It happened much quicker than anticipated, all thanks to my Preplaced mentor . Hi team Apple, Google, Microsoft, Xiaomi India, OPPO Few weeks ago, I encountered an issue in connecting my iphone's network to my friends iphone via hotspot-wifi functionality. After brainstorming for weeks, I am able to reproduce this scenario. 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞 - When 2 network providing service (router or mobile hotspot) have same name, then user can't see both wifi's on mobile/laptop together. Also system failed to identify which wifi is stored in password list. 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 - 1. Take 2 devices which can share network to another third mobile/laptop 2. Let's say one is Wifi router (D1 - P1 password) and another is Xiaomi mobile phone (D2 - P2 password). Third one is iphone (D3) ----- D1 and D2 both have same name ----- 3. D1 is on. D2's hotspot is off. Wifi of D3 is on 3. Connect D3 to D1 4. Now turn hotspot of D2 5. Restart D3 wifi. It's now showing D2 in my network list and connecting to D2 although password is set for D1 and it now shows incorrect password 5. User now enter password of D2 and it's now connected 6. Turn off hotspot of D2 and restart wifi of D3 7. D3 is now connecting to wifi mentioned in my network list and shows forget password and user again needs to enter password of D1 E𝐱𝐚𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐞 - 1. One is shared in below screen recording 2. Let's consider another case of 3 iphones. 2 iphone hotspot passwords are P1 and P2 and both iphone names are "iPhone". Third iphone's wifi service can't identify both wifis and only one wifi name is shown. Password storing list also can't distinguish both iphone devices and will store password of only one 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐚𝐩𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐚𝐜𝐡 - Instead of distinguishing mobile devices based on name, we should use unique number/ids so that wifis with same name can be identified uniquely

Solved 4/6 in today's CodeForces Round 953 Div 2 ! Missed on submitting E by 2 minutes :( It was probably the easiest Div 2 round I saw till now...E got AC in just one go after system testing . It would have got me good rank (under 600) if I started on time but yes life sucks ... My approach for E : Have two vectors v1 and v2 where v1 represents string s and v2 represents string t....First try to set 1 at indices in v2 using first type of operation. Also make sure to store info regarding whether it was set before only or set after performing operation. Like you can simply set it is 1 or -1 where 1 denotes it was already set and -1 denotes we set it using that operation. Now similarly iterate over v2 and try to set values in v1 using second operation. Now you can use prefix sum to find total number of 1's in range l to r. The catch is to check for two ends of that subarray. Current ans = pfx[r]-pfx[l-1]; 1) If value at v1[l-1]==-1 then that means it was set using operation so it needed an index l-2 which was clearly not in limits so decrease the ans by 1. Similarly we will check for index r-1. 2) If value at v1[l]==-1 then we probably used index l-1 and l+1 to set it. Now we need to ensure if we were able to set v2[l-1] and v2[l+1] in limits [l,r]. v2[l-1] should be 1 for sure and v2[l+1] can be 1 but if its -1 index l+2 should less equal to r-1 then only its possible else we will decrease the ans by 1. Similarly we will check for index r-2. Handle edge cases properly and its good to go. What is the “Right” Way to Tackle CAT Mock Tests? Should I attempt 2 mocks per day? I've been asked these questions by all the CAT aspirants I've interacted with. With CAT 2024 on the horizon, mock tests are becoming a daily ritual for many aspirants. But here's a reminder: Don't judge yourself based on your scores. Mock percentiles differ significantly from the actual CAT percentile. "It’s not just about taking mocks but analyzing them right!" ANALYSE EACH MOCK FOR AT LEAST 3 HOURS!! (2 hour attempt + 3 hour analysis is what you need) If you don't analyze, the hours you spend on mocks won’t translate into real growth. Make every mock count by: ◻️ First things first. The questions you Skipped Go back and try solving these questions again. Give them some time and if you're still not able to solve, check the solution. Understand whether you forgot the concept or was the question very alien to you. Revisit, revise, and reinforce that concept. 🟥 The Questions You Got Wrong Firstly, try to keep the number of incorrect questions as less as possible. Mistakes happen, but make them meaningful! Review why you got it wrong. Was it a silly mistake? Was the concept unclear? Understand your mistake and note it to avoid repeating it the next time. 🟩 Lastly, The questions which were accurately attempted Getting it right is great, but let’s dig deeper. Check if there was a trick or shortcut or any other faster approach. And try to implement it the next time. Every second counts, and 99%ilers rely on these hacks which makes their calculations faster. Finally, Key Strategies to Reach Your Goal: ➡️ Review Your Strengths and Weaknesses: Identify and master your strongest sections. For the weaker areas, focus on clearing the cutoff. Avoid the traps of questions you always get wrong! ➡️Time Management Practice: Experiment with time allocation until you find what works best. Avoid lingering on one question for too long- Skip it and come back later if needed. Some of my students said, they take the question on their ego. DO NOT DO THIS.  If that’s you, try letting it go—you’ll thank yourself later. ➡️ Find questions you are confident about: Mark an option if and only if you are 100% sure about your answer. Attempt the questions in 3 cycles. First the easiest ones. Second the ones which take time and lastly try solving the questions which you find were not solvable or very difficult. Note the Traps: In each mock, note tricky questions or those you spent too much time on. 🚨 Bug Alert in Zomato App 🚨 Hello, Zomato Team! I wanted to bring to your attention a bug I encountered in the Zomato app. Instead of displaying the intended text, the app is showing code variables. This seems to be an issue with text rendering, where placeholders or code variables are not being properly replaced with user-friendly text. This impacts the user experience and can be confusing for users who are not familiar with code. 𝐁 - if k is even then just break like 1, k, k+1 If k is odd then break like 1, 2, k, k+1, n 𝐂 - sort the array, start iterating from left to right get the rightmost index j for index i such that a[j]<a[i]+a[i+1], hence you don’t need to change anything in this window and have to change all the elements outside this window which will be first i-1 elements and last n-j elements, maintain a minimum and update for each i. 𝐃 - First get those nodes that are connected to 0 directly, after that maintain a set of leaf nodes, for any new number to check for its parent, First check with the biggest leaf node, if it turns out to be true, replace the biggest leaf node with the node for which you were checking as now it will be the leaf node Otherwise, start checking from smaller leaf nodes. If a leaf node you are checking now is not the parent of this current node, you just pop out this leaf node as the subtree of this branch is already over, and no new node will be connected to this in the future. Then, check for the next bigger leaf node until you find the parent, then repeat process 1.
