[Foundation-l] Do we need a Code of Participation?

"Don't be a dick"... heh, I like that - appropriately blunt and hits the
nail bang on the head. We could shorten it and clean it up a bit to "Don't
be a jerk" and link to the wiktionary definition of jerk.

Perhaps it needs to be two separate pages. One where we say in about 3-4
sentences "Don't be a jerk", and have a link in that to "You can help keep
our Comments pages a nice place" asking people who do bother to read the
principles (who usually aren't going to be rude) to help police it.

Mostly it needs to be really really short (a third or a quarter of the
current length) to have any hope of being read.

I dunno. All such policies come down to "Don't be a dick." You could
start from that, paying $1 for every word over it ...
