I am William and Audrey Hutchinson Distinguished Professor of Philosophy at Loyola University New Orleans. My primary research is on the thought of Maurice Merleau-Ponty and its connections to Kantian and Post-Kantian idealism. I am also interested in developing the "embodied idealism" in find in Merleau-Ponty's early works into a systematic theory that can contribute to current debates in epistemology and metaphysics.
