Kyle Breen is a Ph.D. candidate and Graduate Research Assistant at Louisiana State University. Kyle is receiving his PhD in Sociology and also has a Graduate Minor in Environmental Science. He received his undergraduate degree from Eastern Illinois University (EIU) in sociology.
Kyle's research interests include education--both policy implications and inequality, stratification, disasters and environmental justice, and the connections between all of those topics. Currently, Kyle is working on an NSF funded grant that is examining organizational development of civilian volunteer search and rescue organizations.
