Sunday Hike #6: Mount Sutro Loop
🌲 Join us for a peaceful Sunday morning forest escape—without leaving the city. This week, we’re heading to Mount Sutro, one of San Francisco’s best-kept green secrets.
We’ll be starting from the Historic Trailhead, which leads into a lush, eucalyptus-filled loop that feels like walking through a storybook. The trail is about 2.2 miles with ~500 feet of elevation gain—just enough to get your heart rate up and your mind reset.
Expect:
Shady paths through a fog-kissed urban forest
Quiet trails with birdsong and the scent of eucalyptus
A few gentle inclines and peekaboo views of the city skyline
Great company and conversation with fellow hikers
