The major sectors of economic diplomacy for Nepal will be briefly discussed. Further, the paper also aims to recommend the proper initiatives for the implementation of economic diplomacy to be considered by Nepal.

The dramatic international developments in the South-East Asia and the involvement of great powers in Nepal for the specific issue of Tibetans are the most penetrating questions for the sovereignty of Nepal. This research aims to analyze the roles and interests of great powers and its consequences in the sovereignty of Nepal through offensive- neo realism perspective. This paper mainly uses deductive (top-down) method which begins with the theory then hypothesis, observation and finally confirmation. The geopolitics in Nepal among the great powers is relevant exercises to compete for their hegemonic position in the system or at least in the regional level. Further, this is an interesting case to explain the challenges of weak state surrounded by powerful actors as well as offensive nature of possible hegemonic actors in the international system.

contemporary world politics; pluralism, multiculturalism and Consociationalism. On the one
hand, these three approaches shares some common grounds on the other hand, they varies on
their historical background, notions, process and implications. Firstly, the paper will briefly
outline the understanding and concepts of these three theories then it will compare and contrast
among them. In discussing commonalities, their common aspects among three theories will be
discussed then it will also present commonalties between any two of them. Whereas,
differences among these three theories will be discussed one by one.

Our team collectively prepared the questionnaire for getting data from the field and we discussed together for analysing our findings from the field. In many cases, responses provided by the participants of questionnaire are confusing and contradicting. However, those data from the field are very helpful in analysing and drawing a sketch on the burning issues of federal designing in Nepal. We have tried to make our research as scientific as we can and we have used possible techniques (for example, Excel) and best possible methodologies (for example, stratified random sampling, closed structured questionnaire and so on). Rather than describing with the words and make our report vague, we have focused on our objectives and findings. As the research was limited in many ways and we have covered very minimum scopes as well as less number of respondent. Our aim for the conduction of this research is to know the practical hindrances while doing research and also understanding the complexities of federal designing in Nepal. Thus, our report on the basis of field research is just a brief sample.

The second section will simply list out the important determinants of Nepali politics. Third and fourth section will use both inductive and deductive method for analysing how geopolitical factors have affected Nepali politics and how Nepal could fulfil its interest through the utilization of such geopolitical imperative respectively. In general, the paper will be based on secondary data and qualitative method will be employed throughout the paper.

The aim of this paper is to discuss about the “waves of democratization” which has to be understood through the Samuel P. Huntington’s comprehensive work, “The Third Wave; Democratization in the Late Twentieth Century”. The characteristics of the “third wave” of democratization process and major challenges faced by the newly democratic countries in the task of consolidating their democratic system are also discussed. The final section of this paper will analyse whether the third wave is over or not!

Although, the constitution of Nepal is itself a milestone for peace process of Nepal, it has postponed some key issues of state restructuring due to lack of consensus. The promulgation of new constitution was not as amicable as it was expected and the contradictions that are the part of new constitution which various sects of people have considered unjust to them is further challenge in the successful implementation of new constitution. Nepal has faced multiple transitions in the post conflict situation after 2006 which need to be settled in an ideal way, otherwise it would fertile for another conflict or rebellion. Thus, the aim of this paper is to explain the concepts and frameworks of conflict resolution and peace building in order to apply it in the case of Nepal’s peace process.

This research aims to identify the patterns of polarities on the basis of observations of secondary data found in the text of Thompson and others. The paper then tests whether polarity shift in international system follows circular pattern or not on the basis of identified patterns. The pattern analysis explicitly suggests that there is no systematic transfer of polarity in the international system. This research mainly uses inductive method (bottom-up approach of reasoning) which begins with the observations then pattern, tentative hypothesis and finally theory. The realist assumptions of anarchical international system as well as hegemonic nature of each powerful state provide best explanations for reasoning the result of this research. Further, the paper argues that the configuration of the present system in unipolar which most likely shift towards bipolar system rather than multipolar system as the next stage of polar system.
