There are three tests are being conducted in this experiment which are controlled one pulse half wave rectifier, balanced two pulse circuit, and fully controlled a.c. power controller in non-parallel circuit. Generally, the analysis conducted are the effect of the firing angle, diode and different type of load on the output of the rectifier.

The first part of measurement is by using strain gauge. In this part, we are analysing four types of configurations which are potential divider, quarter-bridge, half-bridge and full-bridge. While for the second part, we are conducting the measurement by using potentiometer. This part involves two types of potentiometer which are linear and rotary.

In this experiment, there are three types of filter that had been looked on which are low-pass filter, high-pass filter and band-pass filter. Here the frequency response of each of the filters are being studied to understand the characteristics of their cutoff frequencies and the insertion loss. All the values are being measured and recorded in the following section.

The experiment is conducted by recording the time taken for the respective point of mass to being rotated by a fixed load until the point where the load is escaping from the flywheel and the number of rotations done after be independent from the load. The moment of inertia then is calculated by substituting the data obtained from the experiment and the experimental value is calculate and compared to the experimental one.
