Raymond Feliciano
Started studies in anthropology in 2001 graduating Magna Cum Laude and Valedictorian from the Anthropology program of the University of Puerto Rico, Rio Piedras in 2004. Completed postgraduate studies in Archaeology of Complex Societies at the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, obtaining a Master's degree with honours in 2009.
Since 2001 to present date I have served in countless archaeology related positions including as lead archaeologist for the Camp Santiago Cultural Resources program (2006-2009 & 2012-2015), archaeologist for the Bureau of Land Management at the Grants Pass Resource Area in southwestern Oregon (2011-2012), Heritage Program Manager at El Yunque National Forest (2012-present) and Cultural Resources Specialist for the Natural Resources Conservation Service, Caribbean Area (2016 to present).
I also serve as a consultant for several federal agencies, such as the U.S. Air Force and Department of Defense.
My career has also included volunteering, instructing and consultation work at the San Juan Historic Site, the Mayan area of Belize, Wake Forest University archaeology field school, as well as actively serving as a member of the State Historic Preservation Office Advisory Board in Puerto Rico.
