It has been observed that diploma students admitted in 2nd yr (Mechanical, Computer Science, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Electronic Communication Department) have a very poor knowledge of English language and communication skills. To determine their current level and need of language, does it adequately meet with the prerequisites of the program or not, a questionnaire survey was conducted. This well-structured questionnaire was circulated among 100 newly admitted diploma students. After obtaining the need analysis of learners, the findings of survey revealed that learners are poor in four language skills while learning English. This questionnaire method-based survey enables the researcher to establish to the course objectives and outcomes. This newly framed course content provides a golden opportunity to improve language skills through utilizing a variety of activities from simple to complex level of language along with enhancing listening, reading, writing and speaking skills simultaneously. The outcomes of the course are expectedly to observe the shift of improvement in both, written and oral communication.

Oral communication unites people in groups. In the earliest human society, human lived, people created stories, sometimes to entertain themselves, sometimes to educate others, and for several other purposes. Before the introduction of the writing system, such stories were transmitted orally from generation to generation. In this modernized world, on one hand we are detaching from our rooted cultures while on other, there are few communities or group of people who are engaged to revive it. For instance, Patua, a kind of storytelling tradition of Bengal, India but through pictures/paintings, to impart knowledge religious, philosophical or making awareness related to education/ environmental issues. Gurusaday Dutt revived this form after a lot of efforts. After revival, this Patua tradition is remained as a folk art. In this paper, my study involves different e-learning apps like BYJUS, Vedantu including Gamification pedagogy to improve and get fluency on language.

As a woman, the issue of man's oppression over women is what effected me the most but this type of humiliation was not limited with only women but male characters as well. In contemporary period, marginalization has become a subject of social, political and economic debate. Generally, the form of marginalization is linked to level of the development of the society. In fact in the term of 'marginalization', low caste people victimized socially, politically and economically in the name of religion. In less developed economics, women also tend to be marginalized, either physically or mentally. In nation such as India, there is a major problem of humiliation and oppression of marginalized communities like dalits, tribals and backward classes.

Communication skills are an essential part of this global environment, and it is an important feature both academically and professionally. It is considered a chief element for boundless opportunities. Multilingualism refers to the ability of a speaker to converse in more than one language efficiently. However, the proficiency to speak in one language tends to influence both verbal and written communication. Problems often arise from basic differences in cultures. communication can also be differentiated in rural and urban backgrounds, which causes difficulty in understanding the language. English is considered a universal language worldwide, and with the help of appropriate and modern learning methods, it will help us to improve our speaking and writing skills. At the same time, it will prepare the youth for a multilingual and globalized world. This paper sheds light upon an investigative survey conducted between students hailing from different backgrounds and regions of India. I took a set of twelve students from our college, and I decided to test their communication and language skills through a Listening and Speaking test. I also asked them for suggestions to upgrade the existing teaching methodology effectively.

The reality of a dramatic texts lies in its performance on stage. For making any text performative, the process focuses on three major factors; first, the words of text, second, its interpretation. And, third is its vision created by performer in the form of dialogues while making it alive on stage. Mahmood Farooqui and his team revived this art form of storytelling, Dastangoi in 2004 and created their own contemporary dastans and complied in a book. Here, the study has selected few dastans from Tilism-e-Hoshruba, The Adventures of Amir Hamza, translitrated Hindi book Dastangoi and others available on Youtube channel and Blog for a comparative study. The paper also highlights how translated/transliterated dastans have certain problems and limitations in the context of audiance, culture, text, performers and strategy behind practice.
