Werner Rammert
Dr. Werner Rammert is professor of sociology (Science, Technology & Innovation Studies) since 1999 at the TU Berlin, from 1991 at the FU Berlin. He received his degrees (Diss./Habil.) at the faculty of sociology at Bielefeld. He initiated and headed some educational and research programs, like Diplom/MA/BA "Sociology", "Future of Work", "Cultural Shaping of Technologies" (EU), "Innovation Society Today" (DFG), "Human-Centered-Communication" (Excellence Cluster) and "Socionics" (DFG, with computer scientists). He was fellow at the Northwestern, Vienna, and Stanford University. He has been editor of "Zeitschrift für Soziologie", "Soziologische Revue" and the yearbooks "Technik und Gesellschaft".
