I feel like I missed a whole era of 90s internet, because my parents could never afford, or were never interested in Usenet, so I never got to see it (I know it still exists, but I doubt it looks or feels anything like 90s internet)

Everyday my wish for the internet to return to the 90s is more and more justified and very much not a rose tinted glasses thing

Course, last night I said maybe I need a full day’s sleep to feel better about things, but now I get home from work and I’m not tired at all lol

After using a Pixel 8 at work (for and from work) I think I can say that Android is way less janky than it was years ago

I feel like some people are misinterpreting that Bluesky AI opt out article, not saying that Bluesky has nothing to be criticized (they do), but I don’t see anything about them selling your data

Also, mastodon should have safeguards against AI, but I don’t see that. I see big instances saying “you can post AI as long as you say that’s what it is”
