know... more This paper describes how telemedicine technology affects knowledge management generally and knowledge sharing process specifically. This issue may be important in health sectors and knowledge oriented organizations which are eager to improve knowledge sharing in their organizations. Using telemedicine and e-health technologies, healthcare organizations can deliver healthcare to patients in a distance, so that an improvement in their productivity, effectiveness and efficiency can be reached. Although, there is a huge potential in knowledge sharing issues using telemedicine, most current researches focus on the economic benefits of using telemedicine. In this paper, a new framework is developed in the knowledge sharing area, based on some theoretical and conceptual issues that depict knowledge management benefits. Also, a model is developed to explain how knowledge sharing occurs in telemedical practices. Finally, there is a discussion of the potential benefit of knowledge sharing using telemedicine. Here, findings in a healthcare organization are examined and results show that telemedicine has different effects on knowledge sharing, idea sharing, productivity, knowledge oriented culture and quality service in distance areas. Abstract—Nowadays healthcare organizations satisfy most of their needs and in some cases achieve ... more Abstract—Nowadays healthcare organizations satisfy most of their needs and in some cases achieve a competitive advantage with using new technologies. Information technology is one of those technologies that is most popular in both operational and administrative activities. So in this way IT plans should be driven by an organization called IT governance organization. The ultimate goal of designing, developing and implementing the IT governance is to combine business and IT to access better financial results and find relationship between business and IT to achieve objectives with better financial measures. Thus IT balanced scorecard process which is leading to corporate contribution is a rational process and is used in this article as one of research methods. Balance scorecard is a well-known method in performance evaluation and also as controlling and monitoring mechanism in strategic management. In this article IT balanced scorecard is used as a framework for evaluating performance of IT governance in a health care organization, and evaluated and scored firm’s position in four aspects: corporate contribution, stakeholders, operation excellence, and future orientation. As a result, addition to current IT governance position in the organization some strategies suggested for improving use of IT as an enabling business tool.

In this research codified knowledge used for forecasting is measured in seven companies and also the accuracy of forecasting is evaluated. Results demonstrate a significant growth of accuracy by using codified knowledge which is an elementary implementation of knowledge management.
