Sutra Teratai merupakan rujukan sampingan penganut agama Buddha mazhab Mahayana. Ia juga dikenali sebagai Sutra Lotus Dharma yang Menakjubkan. China: Miaofa lianhua jing (Skt. Saddharmapuṇḍarīka-sūtra); 7 fascicles, tr. oleh Kumārajīva in 406 CE. Salah satu daripada sutra Mahāyāna yang paling popular dan berpengaruh di Asia Barat; yang merupakan asas penubuhan Aliran Tiantai dan Nichiren. Tajuknya sering dipendekkan kepada Fahua jing 法華經. Sutra ini terkenal dengan ajaran terperinci berasaskan konsep dan penggunaan cerita haiwan "parables".
