In this project, a hands-on experience of applying machine learning and pattern recognition techniques is given to a real-world data set such as MNIST. Multiple building blocks have been proposed and analyzed to improve the speed and the accuracy of the Convolutional Neural Networks (CNN). Two networks have been used with the same data. In network I, a three-layer MLP with ReLU and dropout resulting in fast training process with over all accuracy 95% during training and 94% for testing. Network II on the other hand, a stack of CNN, RelU, and Max pooling shows slower training process with better accuracy than network I and overall, 99% accuracy for training, and 98.9% for testing. Another modification on network II improved overall accuracy during the training to 99.82% and accuracy for testing to 99.25%. this modification will be shown in the report. The building blocks for the project will be discussed briefly with the results and figures. Python code is also provided for this project. This project may be used for as a guidance for new students or engineers who aiming to understand pattern recognition.

It has the highest amount of oil in Saudi Arabia and in the entire world. There are many companies are working there to find oil, minerals, phosphate, water and some other resources. The Empty Quarter is totally covered by heavy sands and dunes and you can imagine yourself walking in the biggest desert in the world. As we looked at multiple reactors we chose the Fast neutron reactors (FNR) - Supercritical CO2 direct cycle fast reactor. According to KAIST report the reactor thermal power is 36.2 MWth with 20 years lifetime “without refueling”. The same report claims that it can be shipped and moved by truck; thus in our case the Fast neutron reactors (FNR) - Supercritical CO2 direct cycle fast reactor is the best for some reasons. The components in the reactors are small enough to make it simpler and easier and more economically for maintenance. Furthermore, KAIST

The government made some plans to meet the demand and reduces the consumption of the electricity, established renewable and nuclear energy that would be ready by 2032. In this project we need to establish a plane that meet the demand in a short time. We will focus on one of the most importance cities in Saudi Arabia, Yanbu.

The path planning generated by the APF is an optimal path, shortest distance to the goal. We have investigated three scenarios to create the path planning. Forst scenario, generating path planning with one obstacle. The second scenario, generating path planning with two obstacles. The third scenario, generating the path planning with two obstacles but with different parameters of the spread of attraction, the spread of repulsive, the strength of attraction, and the strength of repulsive , then, the optimal path planning among those parameters founded in scenario 3. We tested two local minima and simulated with APF algorithm then we compare the results for the better path planning. An improvement APF has been tested and simulated for the local minima problem

In complex clutter environment, conventional method generate a large of clutter residual plots. A proposed method by [13] based on SOM-SMOTE Random Forest (SOM-SMOTERF) was discussed from the perspective of classifying targets and clutters. The researchers team design a single-level features such as amplitude, phase, spatial correlation, and range profile of radar echoes to construct a high-dimensional feature vector. Then, the imbalanced dataset problem was solved in training Random Forest (RF) in combination with methods and algorithms of Self Organizing Map (SOM) and the Synthetic Minority Over-sampling Technique (SMOTE) which proposed as SOM-SMOTE-RF. The results of implementing SOM-SMOTE-RF suppresses 82% clutters with only 5% targets loss.

We used some techniques to find these channels such as electromagnetic waves, gravitation filed, and the geographical ground properties of the ground. Using electromagnetic waves were easier to detect the source of the water by measuring the electromagnetic waves of one river then we monitor the river from the ground to where the channel begins to be underground; we were able to walk on the ground and fellow the electromagnetics waves. The waters were found in some channels, but there were more than 200 channels were covered, buried, and as a result they were missed since a long years ago, estimating more than 200 years. We used some electronics devices to detect the water channels. However, there was a problem with using these devices in area where the cellphones and some others devices were used. The problem was these devices affected the measurements on the detector devices. We also were working on developing methodologies to find those channels and its revers. There was no system to control the using of the water, hence it may affect the amount of the water which may lead to dry. We suggested controlling the water by building control system in these tunnels to control the consumption of the water. We also argued about the maintenance of these tunnels using robotics instead of going underground, which costs money, and leading to some risks. In this project, we focus more on controlling the water sources and using the water in the channels. We used waterfinder device BR 500 – GW and some statistic technics.

Use an AC Sweep to measure the bandwidth of the amplifier. With the output voltage vs. frequency displayed, select the Measurements item from the Trace menu and then the Bandwidth_Bandpass_3dB item from the list in the resulting dialog box to determine the 3dB or 1/√2 bandwidth from this plot and display it on the screen. In your laboratory report, record the value of the bandwidth and include a printout of the frequency response that displays the bandwidth.

In the past, this was a very simple task, but with the addition of new "features" this process has become somewhat daunting. Previous versions of OrCAD's PCB Editor have used a specific naming scheme for the PCB footprint library, in the 16.3 update, the software has changed naming schemes and will not allow the old names to be used. To solve this problem, you must go through the following process for every part in the schematic.

To ensure layout reliability as well as avoid manufacturing issues your schematic design must be correct. Capturing your design from conception to manufacturing should be smooth and constraint-driven. Whether you are starting from scratch or working on existing designs, the intuitive schematic simulation gives you the tools you need to design in the most efficient way possible.

In contrast, the ultimate goal of a radar system is often to estimate only a limited number of target parameters. Thus, there is a pursuit to find better means to perform the radar signal acquisition as well as processing with much reduced amount of data and power requirement. Recently, there has been a great interest to consider compressive sensing (CS) for radar system design; CS is a novel technique which offers the framework for sparse signal detection and estimation for optimized data handling. In radars, CS enables the achievement of better range-Doppler resolution in comparison with the traditional techniques. However, CS requires the selection of suitable (sparse) signal model, the design of measurement system as well as the implementation of appropriate signal recovery method. This work attempts to present an overview of these CS aspects, particularly when CS is applied in monostatic pulse-Doppler and MIMO type of radars. Some of the associated challenges, e.g., grid mismatch and detector design issues, are also discussed.

Clutter models are necessary factors in the simulation and modeling of radar systems. Therefore, Knowledge of clutters is important to identify targets and the impact of clutter cannot be ignored. Statistical distributions are established models which are widely used in radar clutters performance calculations. Gaussian, Weibull, Rayleigh and K-distribution are four common clutter models. The design of radar detectors and clutter classification are really complicated issues. For clutter classification, the different methods such as Bayesian classifier are used. But in this paper we propose a new classifier for radar clutters. We use Artificial Neural Network to classify four common radar clutter models. First we simulate clutter models then extract their important features like skewness and kurtosis. Finally, we we make neural network with two hidden layers which has twenty and fifteen neurons in each layer and we separate clutter models with high accuracy. The results prove the validity of proposed method. Keywords-Classifier, feature extraction, radar clutter, Neural Network make neural network with two hidden layers which has twenty and fifteen neurons in each layer and we separate clutter models with high accuracy.
