    Last week Roku launched our very first official Employee Resource Group in the EMEA region: Women of Roku. To kick off this incredible journey, we hosted a dynamic panel discussion to discover how the strength of our community lies in the power of Allyship. Little would I know, that all activities pre event, would display examples of collaboration and allyship. THANK YOU everybody who supported this event! 📅 Pierre Gaston for releasing the time slot for our monthly social event, after a brief negotiation with myself 📸 Ray Dumasia for creating the magnificent images that are helping me to tell this story 🔉 Conrad Jarvis for managing video and sound while troubleshooting and enabling broadcasting across the region. 🎤 Gerardo (Jerry) Guerrero, CPA, MBA for creating an impeccable run of show and provoking questions that challenged our amateur and enthusiastic public speaking skills. 🌟 WOR crew in US, with co chairs Ramya Reddy Rachel Helfman and Morgan Hanagan supporting me during all the process and Executive Sponsor @Charlie Collier for introducing the panel with his genuine advocacy for this employee resource group 📝 Workplace services colleagues Luke Penrose Charlotte Jones Marina A H. and communications team Hannah Perselli Allison Emery supporting the event 🖌 Arquimides H. Pacheco producing the graphic design and managing the zoom webinar platform during the event I Couldn't finish the story without mentioning the women who organized with impeccable detail, the entire set up for panelists and audience. With great enthusiasm and professionalism , Jo Gibbs promoted the event and coordinated every single detail you could imagine is needed for such an activity to run flawless. And most importantly, had ready for me a glass of fizz immediately after the panel conversation was finished. All to calm the nerves she noticed earlier, were capturing me. The same Jo that, almost 5 years ago, welcomed me with a cup of coffee, on my first day at Roku, as i arrived late to induction. As we eat the last pieces of cake we could find, and the adrenaline start to decrease,  us panelist and organizers, realized we are the only ones left in the cafeteria. In the back of my mind , I am thinking, that  this was a great opportunity to challenge my assertiveness and dare to be vulnerable, together with Burcu Gültekin-Punsmann Omari R Blackman and Chris Martin.

    Today is the day! Roku Ads Manager is now available to everyone 🚀 Do you think this is a big deal? Here’s why I think it is 👇 There are no minimum spends, and anyone can sign up and launch campaigns on TV, same day. By launching a self-service ads manager, we are opening the door for performance minded marketers to usher in the future of CTV. I got to have a front row seat to this moment in mobile advertising, and I can’t wait to see how this plays out in streaming. I am most proud that this is fully built in-house, allowing us to iterate quickly, making rapid improvements for marketers. We have already come so far in our Beta this past year, launching amazing audience, reporting, measurement, and interactive features. In fact, you’ll see some industry firsts. For example, we have taken our partnership with Shopify to the next level by letting merchants connect their accounts with Roku Ads Manager and actually launch shoppable campaigns, completely self-service. Consumers can press OK on their Roku remote to make purchases on screen. And again, there is no upcharge or minimum required. Marketers are going to find this Ads Manager to be the most efficient way to access CTV through what is very familiar setting, full stop. This release comes after many long, hard days and nights from Roku product, engineering, and marketing teams.
