STEWART ROBINSON is Dean and Professor of Operational Research at Newcastle University Business School. His research focuses on the practice of simulation model development and use. Key areas of interest are conceptual modeling, model validation, output analysis and alternative simulation methods (discrete-event, system dynamics and agent based). He is author/co-author of numerous articles and six books on simulation. Professor Robinson was President of the United Kingdom Operational Research Society (2014-2015) and previously Dean of the School of Business and Economics at Loughborough University (2015-2021).
