Ioannis Gonos
He was born in Artemisio, Arcadia in 1970. He received his Diploma in Electrical Engineering and his Ph.D. from the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, Greece in 1993 and 2002 respectively. He has also received his Diploma of Pedagogic Study from the School of Professional and Technological Educators of Athens, Greece in 1997.
Professional activities: He is an Assistant Professor (since 2015). He was a Lecturer with the Division of Industrial Electric Devices and Decision Systems, School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National Technical University of Athens (2013-2015). He was a researcher at the High Voltage Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens (January 2002- April 2013. He was a laboratory assistant at the High Voltage Laboratory and Photometry Laboratory of the National Technical University of Athens (1996-2013. He was a teaching assistant at the Hellenic Naval Academy (1996-2001) and at the Department of Energy Technology in the Faculty of Technological Applications of the Technological Education Institute of Athens. He was also teaching laboratory lessons in Greek High Schools in 1995-1996 and 2000-2001.
Publications: He is the author of 65 papers in international scientific journals, 7 papers in Greek scientific journals, 6 papers in scientific collections, 130 papers in international conference proceedings. He is co-editor in 3 scientific collections of papers.
Other activities: He is member of IEEE, IET, CIGRE and member of the Technical Chamber of Greece (TEE). He was member of the Organising Committee of several international conferences . He has participated in several research projects undertaken by National Technical University of Athens.
