Following on from the great performance of the fat Dutch man comes Backstreet Boys’ As Long As You Love Me (4MB video file, let’s hope it’s mirrored soon!). It’s done in the same style by 2 lads, with another guy playing CS in the background. Love those facial expressions! 🙂
Rainbow Plucking Orgy.. now with a script!
Ages ago I linked to the Rainbow Plucking Orgy. It’s an episode of a 70s/80s childrens tv program, but with a script containing jokes that might go over the heads of children! Here’s the episode and that script too! 🙂 (via Gavin and Ryan)
THE ANTI-BUSH VIDEO GAME
THE ANTI-BUSH VIDEO GAME – Hulk Hogan, He-man, and a host of villians and heroes!
Batman Begins Trailer Online
The Batman Begins trailer is out! I haven’t seen it yet, but the /. discussion has a few interesting bits including a link to imdb trivia page for the film! The film’s out on June 15th, but I wonder how long it’ll take to get to Ireland? If you can’t view the Quicktime trailer above, take a look at this page where you can download a “high resolution” .wmv version!
deadmalls DOT com
Maybe Mahon Point should be listed on deadmalls DOT com? Apparently nobody’s spending money down there, although B&Q is mighty interesting for those housey things! We wandered through there a few weeks ago and besides a quick shop in Tesco we got out quickly! Ryan had an even better day there! hehe.
Generic Form Validation Routine
Interesting way to validate web forms. Attach javascript functions to appropriately marked form fields!
Google PageRank resets on expired domains
I heard it on IRC first, but this article explains what happens to a website’s pagerank when it’s domain expires. It resets back to 0 to protect against people unfairly benefitting from the pagerank of the old site! Some would call it domain hijacking but I don’t think it deserves such a violent name!
Contrasting Panasonic Lumix DMC-FZ5 Reviews
Hmm, I wonder if it’s possible that dpreview and PC Mag were looking at the same camera? DPReview gave the FZ5 a glowing review, while PC Mag slated it! I’ve used one for over 2 weeks now and all the photos that appeared here over that period were taken with it. It’s a great camera, but not perfect: The view finder is a bit small. I was spoilt by the large one on the Sony F717! Controls can be a little fiddly. Things are hidden within menus. This is probably a ciritisism that can be leveled at many cameras at […]
Adventures with Panoramas
Adventures with Panoramas – very lengthy and well written article exploring panoramic photography. There’s some great photos here and Doug’s explanations and stories make for a good read!
