After my PhD in Physics from the University of Turin (Italy) and a first phase of experimental work at CERN, I received an invitation in 1982 to participate with a scholarship from the United States Navy to the "Cosmic Rays Physics School" at the Ettore Mayorana International Center - Erice (Trapani), Italy. Until 1985 I worked at the Cosmo-Geophysics laboratory under the direction of Prof. Carlo Castagnoli attending an experiment for the underground detection of muon and neutrino decays emitted during the gravitational collapse of the stars. From 1982 to 1994 I was assistant of the "Experimental Physics" course at the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Turin. In the years 1983-1995 I was a professor of Applied Mathematics at the Luigi Galvani Institute of Turin and director of the Research and Educational Studies Laboratory of the same Institute. In the years 1994-1995 I was professor of "Mechanics and thermodynamics" at the University of Turin in the degree courses in Chemistry and Industrial Chemistry. As for my business, since 1978 I have published articles and books with topics in physics, mathematics, science, didactics and science politics. In particular, my scientific activity is aimed at developing a quantum relativistic electromagnetic theory called Bridge Theory. I am currently professor of Mathematics and Physics at the European International School of Turin, Vice President of the "Odisseo Space" Society and Scientific Director of the e-journal “Gravità Zero”.

The equation is able to describe the propagation of a fermion as a de Broglie's wave and simultaneously to characterise the wave in motion with a mass energy as a particle. The solution of the wave-equation proposed is compatible with the de Broglie's idea of an empty pilot wave, carrying information about the dynamical properties of a particle materialising during each local interaction with the observers.

This result suggests that Relativity and Quantum Mechanics despite their apparent incompatibility they become compatible if we assume the existence of a deepest level of reality in which is the electromagnetism to produce the quantum and relativistic effects in the matter allowing in the same context a dualism wave-particle equivalent to that hypothesized by Louis de Broglie.

This article proposed the use of some recent developments in Bridge theory to achieve significant precision of the theoretical fine structure constant and of all the atomic constants related to it. All the theoretical values estimated are in agreement with their recent experimental estimation, but the particular method of calculation used in this work suggests that the proposed values are absolutely accurate for a hydrogen atom in formation.

In the model, the exchange of gravitons among the dipoles and the potential of vacuum balances the energy of the fluctuation. The effect is to create bubbles of space-time that by growing they expand the local vacuum. The model suggests that the universe originates from overlapping of bubbles of space-time associated with dipoles. Matter is originated during gravitons decay. The use of the Bridge Theory demonstrates how the attractive force field that emerges in each bubble is in the first approximation in accordance with Newtonian gravity at small, medium and large distances in accordance with the theory of General Relativity by also introducing a variable cosmological term that justifies some observed cosmological anomalies. The model overcomes the curren...
