Winston de Greef: I will double check the calculations latter.
19:15
Winston de Greef: I calculated this by adding the first k inverses of n^(2n) with k originally equal to 100. I double checked it with a larger k of 150, and found that after a few hundred terms in this series, the digits were different. This b-file should be deleted as it is incorrect.
20:26
Andrew Howroyd: We have no ability to delete b-files easily (it requires a sysadmin to physically remove the file). Can you provide a smaller b-file that you are sure contains accurate values?
20:31
Andrew Howroyd: The PARI prog seems robust at calculating digits. (increasing precision doesn't seem to give different values)
20:35
Andrew Howroyd: If you go to https://pari.math.u-bordeaux.fr/gp.html then on enter \p1500 to set precision followed by digits(floor(10^1000 * suminf(k=1, 1./k^(2*k)))) you will get some output that you can compare with yours.
20:42
Winston de Greef: Ok, I'll look into it tomorrow
