I do basic maths as a hobby.

Long-term mathematical interests:

• Pearson distributions,
• estimators of moments and their combinations (paper in progress!),
• Bell polynomials: a few years ago I’ve found a new (I think) relation but I’m currently still unable to prove it…
• hypercomplex numbers.

Topics currently on a halt:

• the “birthday distribution” (unpublished): a finite discrete distribution I cannot find published anywhere, related to the birthday problem (hence the name I’ve given to it) and appearing (unnamed) in a 1990 SF short story,
• partial sums of exponential series (unpublished): related to the birthday distribution, still digging into it.
