Abstract
In contrast to the synchronization of two Ti:Salasers with identical repetition rates and a spectral overlap presented in,1 we pulse-synchronize a 60 MHz-Er:fiber-laser with a 100 MHz-Ti:Salaser. The pulses of the fiber-laser are of approx. 80 fsec duration with a spectral width of some 100 nm centered around 1560 nm,2 whereas the Ti:Salaser’s pulses are significantly shorter (about 10 fsec) and its spectrum comprises approx. 200 nm centered around 780 nm.
